What are people saying about Galway

Book it, you won’t be disappointed!!!
Such a great experience. Way better than a bus tour to the Visitor Center. Hiking along the cliffs with frequent stops at various points of view were fantastic. The hike was not strenuous at all. If you are nervous about being close to the cliffs edge we found all very safe. Even spotted puffins on the cliffs below. Patrick and Vinny were exceptional on the knowledge they provided.
Thankfully, we kept an eye on the weather and were able to reschedule for the following day when weather was much better.
They only cancel for visibly issues. Rain or wind the tour will typically occur.
Due to trail closures for maintenance/safety purposes our hike did not end at the Tourist Center. There is always those who try to get a perfect pic resulting in deaths each year causing these trails to be temporarily closed.
Still the BEST hike we could have asked for!!

Perfect way to see Galway!
What a fantastic way to see Galway! Our tour guide had such great stories about the area that were mix in with classic Irish folklore. The walk was very easy and she even had excellent tips on other things to do in the area. This tour is well worth the money!

Best day ever!
This trip was amazing. Alan was the best driver on tricky terrain while being very informative and funny! Every stop was perfectly planned. He gave all the information we needed to feel extremely comfortable. The Cliffs of Moher were absolutely stunning!! There is a golf cart available for those who have issues with 8,000 steps-some quite steep! 100% A+ to our tour guide!! It was the best day!

A very fun and windy excursion!
I really wasn’t going to leave Ireland without seeing the Cliffs of Moher and it was worth it to me!
By nature of where they’re located there is a pretty long bus ride, that’s unavoidable, but our tour guide Pavo was really nice and told stories for the ride. I’m really happy we went with the boat tour because it’s adds something special to the day and it was really cool seeing the cliffs from both the bottom and the top. The visit to Inisheer was also really fun. I don’t think we would have done it otherwise, but it was a cute excursion. We rented e-bikes to see the island (beware that was really expensive), but it was fun! There’s not actually too much to do there if you’re not doing some kind of excursion, but you have the option of just walking around.
The boat ride is actually the same ferry that takes you to and from the island. You can sit on either side because you get a view of the cliffs either on the way there or on the way back. We sat outside and on the side and definitely got very wet from splashing, so be prepared that that could happen. You can sit in the middle or inside to avoid that. Also note many people got motion sickness.
As for seeing the top of the cliffs, it’s not a super long hike up, just pretty steep. The bus takes you most of the way, and on a normal day they have the option to have a golf cart take you the rest of the way. The weather was too windy for us to do that. In fact the wind was actually a little scary the day we went and was knocking people over. That being said, very beautiful views!
If I have any advice, please make sure you’re prepared for the weather. I was not and it was my biggest regret because I spent most of the day shivering, especially after I got wet.
Still glad I did it! We rolled with the punches and had a good time overall.

Ivan’s tour
Ivan was energetic, enthusiastic, and patient. He has extensive knowledge regarding Galway and her history and also shared great recommendations!
We all (8 of us) left knowing we received more than our money’s worth! I can is hospitable too.
I highly recommend this bicycle tour!

One of our best Ireland experiences!
We had an absolute cracker of a walk with Cearbhuil , albeit in winds that were hitting 50kph. Her knowledge and passion for what she does and her homeland were unparalleled and her level of attention above and beyond expectation (even to the point of Cearbhuil scaling the electric fence to retrieve my sun glasses blown off in the wind!!!)

Definitely recommend!
Nice introduction to Galway. It gives a brief span of who Galwaians are and their significance in how Ireland came to be. The only negative thing was we were very close to a Spanish speaking group. Their guide was speaking through a headset and very loud. Perhaps there is a way to space out groups so that each group can hear their guide.

Good tour of old town Galway
Our guide, Conor, did a great job telling us about Galway and the history. He was engaging and knew the history well.
We would probably prefer that the tour route be expanded so that we could cover more area during the tour as the actual route was rather short. Otherwise it was excellent

Great Food and Tour!
While often times it seems food walking tours are short on food and drink, this tour was not! Our guide, Zoey (sp?), was excellent, providing some interesting history of the Galway area and was very attentive to the group's needs. I would recommend this tour.

A wonderful way to see Ireland
This was a delightful way to see Ireland and to spend a day. We were lucky to have Tommy as driver and guide. Tommy had great easy control and we felt safe with him. His stories had value and were delivered with humour and style. I am Irish and enjoyed all the history, learnt new snippets.
I have a greater respect for Galway and Ireland as a result of our lovely guide.
We all felt cared for. A superb way to make friends and see the country. Connemara was spectacular. Those mountains can only be appreciated by being there.
I found it very useful that Tommy suggested which order to view Kylemore. Gardens, House, Restaurant, this worked very well for me.

Arthur is the best guide!!!!
My wife and I were so fortunate and blessed to have Arthur as our private guide in Galway. He is a true expert as he was born and raised in this town and he loves it, and you can tell. We learned more from him, told to us with wonderful stories you will most likely not get from anyone else. We have both used guides all over this planet, and I don’t think any have been as sincere, professional, and wise as Arthur. We will return to Galway, and much of that is because of him, and when we do, we will be making contact with him. I can tell you if anyone every asks us, we would, without a doubt recommend Arthur to be your guide to this beautiful city, his home, Galway.

Great tour if you like history or simply learning interesting facts about Galway!
This tour was great! We learned so much about the history of the city and our guide, Conor, was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. The only minor inconvenience was that a few passersby did attempt to interrupt the tour on a few occasions. One man pushed his friend into my husband and a few others yelled at the group or walked right through our group. This is no fault of the tour guide and nothing they could help - Conor did give us a warning at the start that some people may try to be funny. Overall, it was a great tour!
