Hugo was great! Quick witted, and of course a gentleman. He gave us multiple choices of stops with a great explanation which really helped. No pressure on time and a joy to talk to about anything. We enjoyed Hugo so much we booked a second day with him. By the end of the second day, he felt like family. I gave him all of my info in the US so that if he is ever near us we can get together!! I would give Hugo 10 Stars if I could!

Fabulous and do the sheep dog tour!
Patrick our guide/ driver was incredible- extremely knowledgeable helpful and personable. Gorgeous and bring warm clothes for the cliffs
We had such a fantastic experience on our private tour to the Cliffs of Moher with Patrick! He truly made the day so much more than just a trip to see the cliffs. Along the way, he shared stories, history, and local insights, and made several little stops that we never would have known about on our own. It made the drive just as memorable as the destination.
Patrick was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and easygoing, and we never felt rushed. One of the highlights was his recommendation for a local pub, where he dropped us off for lunch — it ended up being some of the best food we had during our entire trip to Ireland!
The Cliffs of Moher were absolutely incredible, and having Patrick as our guide made the whole experience feel much more personal and special. If you’re looking for a private tour and want to experience more than just the typical tourist stops, we couldn’t recommend Patrick enough. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Ireland!
Driver picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. Very organized tour with a cool ride through The Burren with multiple stops at castles and scenic overlooks for pictures. Ample time at the Cliffs of Moher. Excellent lunch at a local pub in Doolin and a scenic drive along the coast back to Galway. Nothing felt rushed. Driver accommodated our every request. Safe driving and pleasant conversation made the day easy to enjoy.
Very interesting tour. DC did a great job driving and giving us information. Car was very nice. He was very flexible and took us to liscanor to see where one of our groups ancestors came from. The other parts of the tour (sheep dog demonstration, castles, and chocolate factory were fun and interesting
We had such a wonderful experience with Christian! He was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. He knew so much about the land, the history, and the stories behind everything we saw, and he had a way of sharing it that completely captivated us throughout the entire tour.
He was also so thoughtful about answering all of our questions and making sure we had a great experience. You could really tell how passionate and knowledgeable he was about Ireland, which made the tour that much more enjoyable. We absolutely loved our time with Christian and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Ireland!
This day trip allowed us to see so many different sites we would never have gotten to on our own and without the stress of driving. The sheep herding was very interesting and the Cliffs of Moher were spectacular. Christian was a fantastic guide and provided a wealth of local knowledge. We highly recommended Christian and this tour.
We just finished our tour, and it was hands down one of our favorite experiences of the entire trip! DC was absolutely amazing. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the region and its history and shared so many interesting stories and insights throughout the day. Our daughters, who are in their 20s, absolutely loved the experience as well. DC made the entire day informative, fun, and memorable. We cannot recommend him highly enough!
We had an exceptional day on our tour. It was a sensitive day for us as we were scattering our daughters ashes that day and our driver was very respectful. He had great information on the area and shared all his experiences. We were able to work the day to fit our needs and he helped fill our gaps.
The actual tour was ok and informative but our guide DC was not very personable. He never asked our names and we spent about 7 hours with him on a private tour.
This was an excellent tour and I could not recommend it enough! We had Hugo as our tour guide and he was the best. So knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We had a few stops that we requested to see and Hugo made it all work for us. Don’t hesitate, just book! You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back to see more of Ireland with Hugo!
This was an AMAZING experience - definitely a highlight of our trip to Ireland. Initially, I wasn't sure about booking a private tour, but this experience was worth every penny and more. We saw SO much in one day - and we were so impressed with our driver and guide (Bogdan). He was knowledgeable, helpful, professional - and really tailored the tour to make sure we got the most out of it. He also was experienced and knew how to make sure we timed things so we weren't in crowds (which was nice) and he gave us such a great history lesson. Plus, he was patient and accommodating with lots of stops and great photos along the way.
Was a pleasure touring the Irish coast with Brogdon. Not only was he timely and courteous, but he is very knowledgeable about Irish history and answered all of our questions! For each of the stops, he built a great story that made the time fly by! Highly recommend this tour and will use them again if/when we return!
The cliffs were fogged in but the countryside was beautiful. Loved the sheepdog demonstration. Driver Bogdan was awesome. Had a great lunch and enjoyed a cave and bird of prey exhibit. Great to have a driver to ourselves and we could stop whenever we wanted.
John was an amazing guide! We were so comfortable with him and fit in so much in just a short time. We were only in Galway area for one day and it was just a perfect way to spend it. He gave us enough time to spend in each place and we hit about 5 or 6 different places and enjoyed. It was misty to see the cliffs well unfortunately but still beautiful from what we could see. Would recommend to all my friends and family. Thanks so much!!
Bogdan was our tour guide and he was absolutely fabulous. He was a wealth of knowledge, kind, funny, easy to talk to, and very hospitable. He took us places we wouldn’t have gone on our own and even made local restaurant recommendations for us. Highly recommend!!
Our driver was engaging and informative. Our itinerary included a sheepdog demonstration and the Cliffs of Mohar. The cliffs were awesome, a definite sight to see, and the drive back was along the coast, which afforded beautiful views. Lunch at Gus O’Connor’s Pub in Doolin was a great treat, with a wonderful atmosphere. Overall, your experience with our driver, Pat, was well worth the trip.

Christian was so informative and knew endless amounts about Ireland, the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. The sheepdog demonstration was so much fun to see and my kids loved that they got to pet the sheepdogs. It was a great tour.

Some of our favorite parts were visiting Newtown Castle, the beautiful countryside views, the chocolate, the sheep herding demonstration, the Cliffs of Moher, and all the little coastal stops and drives along the way that we never would have found on our own. We also loved meeting Pablo at the natural spring!🫏
As others have said, the private car tour was completely worth it. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.

An amazing experience! DC is full of fascinating information regarding Ireland’s history. He did a wonderful job tailoring our tour and made all the right stops. Hazel Mountain Chocolate factory was interesting and the chocolate is out of this world. The Cliffs of Moher were an incredible site. Would highly recommend this wonderful tour!
ABSOLUTELY recommend this tour. Our driver, Bogdan, was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Stops were well timed and never felt rushed. Sheepdog add-on is absolutely worth it. Don’t skip the beef stew at the pub lunch stop on Doolin!

We had one full day in Galway, and our tour guide, John M., created the perfect route that allowed us to see everything we wanted—and so much more. He gave us plenty of time at each stop while still getting us to the sheepdog demonstration right on time, and gave us the freedom to explore and enjoy the day at our own pace. He also made the driving portions incredibly enjoyable with engaging conversation and fascinating insights about every place we passed through. As a local, he shared so much rich history and knew all the best routes, which allowed us to make the absolute most of our day. After getting to know us, he even customized parts of the tour and took us to spots we never would have discovered on our own. It was truly the highlight of our trip—we ended the day feeling like we had experienced a genuine and complete sense of Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, and The Burren. He also took so many amazing photos that we’ll cherish for a lifetime and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. We couldn’t recommend him more highly!!
We had a fantastic time on our tour with Bob Dan! He was very accommodating and knowledgeable! We saw so much more than we expected.
Our driver, Hugo, took us to places we never would’ve discovered on our own. We tasted delicious Irish artisanal chocolate and watched sheepdogs do their work; we saw ancient tombs, forts, and castles all up and down the Burran. The icing on the cake was arriving at the Cliffs of Moher and taking in the stunning view. Hugo was an excellent source of information and craic, and ever so patient and obliging about pulling over for breaks when the winding roads triggered my inclination to motion sickness. (Strong recommendation to those who are similarly inclined: take your Bonine or Dramamine before starting this trip!) All in all, a quite memorable day!
Fantastic experience with breathtaking views of the cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean. We had been to see the cliffs 21 years ago. Major improvements with the stairway getting up to the cliffs. Our driver Owen was very professional and knowledgeable about the entire route! We would give him an A+.
Our guide, Fergus, was such a pleasure to spend the day with. He was so knowledgeable and made sure that we stopped at several other places of interest before we got to the cliffs. Definitely one of our best tours ever.
