Thank you Nina! Such a cool, fun time. Love your energy, knowledge, and sense of humor. Great little stops and perfect sampling of some core Galway staples! That seafood chowder would be perfect at a high school football game "in the bleachers" 😂

Sisters Eat Their Way Through Galway!

Hannah_M, Apr 2026
My sisters and I took the walking food tour and had a blast! It ended up being us and one other group of 2 and its was perfect. Our tour guide Nina was incredible! She answered all our side quest questions and was super knowledgeable about the entirety of our tour. And of course, the food! The food and drinks were fantastic and I felt like I was getting a glimpse into the food of Ireland! Would totally recommend

Delicious Irish food with a large side of history and culture!

Patricia_F, Apr 2026
Jason was a friendly and knowledgable guide for our walking tour and food tasting in Galway. We learned a lot about Galway, Ireland, traditional Irish food and drink. The tour is concentrated mostly near Eyre Square and a few blocks of Shop Street. We were very impressed by the quality (& quantity!) of the food and drink we enjoyed. We’ll always remember how to make Irish coffee! Thanks, Jason, for a great afternoon despite the wind and rain!

We had so much fun on our tour with Sean and Nina. We loved visiting many iconic spots in Galway and we even got to hear some live music! Sean shared so much history and information about Galway with many funny anecdotes and stories. The food and drink choices were absolutely delicious. We left the tour completely stuffed and happy. They also gave us some great recommendations for the rest of our time in Galway.

Highly recommend

Walking and tasting Galway

Gina_F, Nov 2025
This was a wonderful mix of walking sightseeing, and restaurant tasting. It was very interesting and enjoyable.

Great tour, even better tour guide.

Courtney_P, Oct 2025
John was a great guide with a lot of knowledge and fantastic sense of humor. We had loads of fun. There wasn't that much walking so it's perfect for an older crowd if mobility is an issue. He was also great about accommodating one of my friends who was vegetarian which was really appreciated.

Good Craic

Michelle_B, Oct 2025
A really fun tour. Our guide Conor was knowledgeable & informative. A great way to enjoy a taste of Galway

Great food tour!

Clare_J, Oct 2025
Sean, our guide was fabulous! Loved listening to All the great history and stories. It’s a full meal tour for sure and delicious!

Fantastic time and tour guide!

Pamela_B, Oct 2025
John was host with the most. Food was fantastic and John was super, like meeting up with a mate for a pint. He was so knowledgeable and yet personable.

Don’t take this tour

Noreen_L, Oct 2025
Our guide was very nice and friendly, but this walking food tour was one of the most disappointing I’ve ever taken. For the price, the food was extremely underwhelming. The first stop served a “sandwich” made of bread, butter, and potato chips — something that may be quirky or traditional, but not what you’d expect on a tour at this cost. Unfortunately, the rest of the food wasn’t much better. Overall, it simply wasn’t worth the price, and I left feeling very let down

Our group of eight had a great time! We enjoyed the variety of drinks and snacks. Erin, our guide, was fun and knowledgeable. Friends were toasting me for finding the tour!

Barry was the best!

Christiana_R, Oct 2025
Barry!!!! My mother and I took this tour almost two years ago and still think about it often and fondly. It was a highlight during our holiday. Barry was the B E S T! So personable. During the first stop, it stopped feeling like a tour and more like we were in town visiting an old friend. Truly amazing. Every stop on this tour was a dream. The pub, the dinner, the ice cream shop, yum yum yum! No exaggeration when I say I still dream about the cabbage and bacon dinner. This tour really speaks for itself so don’t hesitate and book it! ps: be sure to try a baby Guinness

Great food

Rebecca_C, Oct 2025
Nice selection of food and lots of it. Disappointed in the guide. We had plenty of time at first two stops. Then she acted like we had to hurry and walked very fast making it difficult for everyone to keep up. Third stop was very hurried. Waiited quite awhile for food at final stop. Once we were given food the guide said goodbye and left even though by my watch we had another 30 minutes to go. Left us in a different neighborhood than it started and gave no info how to get back to our start point.

Galway Walking, Tasting and Eating Tour

Lisa_L, Sep 2025
The food choices were good, info was interesting and the guide was lovely. The distance covered on foot was not difficult at all. Flat and easy.

Enjoyed the evening- but even more-so with more food and less alcohol

Roberta_C, Sep 2025
Anna Leigh our guide was lovely and enjoyed her commentary and history. However, Iwe would have liked more food and less alcohol!

Don’t miss this tour! :)

oakescaroline, Sep 2025
Very well organized and informative AND delightfully fun as we enjoyed the food and atmosphere (and great craic!) of several pubs in Galway’s iconic neighborhoods including Eyre Square, the Latin Quarter, and the West End. All easily walkable. And our guide Analeigh is the definition of a truly gifted raconteur — “telling anecdotes in a skillful and amusing way.” Highly recommend this tour — thank you!

Good fun

John_V, Sep 2025
Good fun brief history of Galway we hit several points of interest with some modern twists on Irish food

Galway dissatisfaction

Michel_D, Sep 2025
The guide was great. For the cost there was very little in return. We were quite disappointed with the food. We could have spent that money on a great meal. Tour not recommended.

This was a great tour. Erin was a fantastic tour guide. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Galway. We had a great time.

It was okay….

Kaolhi_L, Sep 2025
There were a lot of stops but wish they had more variety of food. One stop was chips and bread, something you can get anywhere else on your own. If the price was lower, I would give it a 5 star.
