What are people saying about Egypt

Tour with Mohammed
Mohammed was a good guide, speaking English very eloquently, and he knew a lot about the history. He also could teach me a few hieroglyphics and the logic behind them. He has a good laid-back attitude, but professional aura around him, which makes him chill and not too demanding. The only minus point was that he was so good that the tour was over too quickly, and I didn't have anything to do for the rest of the day. So ask him a lot of questions and take it slow hahaha!

Tour to Alexandria from Cairo, full day
Great tour! I recommend, it started bad with the driver showing up at 6:45 a.m. instead of 6:00 a.m. But, after that everything went great. Adam, the driver was very courteous and attentive, his English dough, was poor. Ahmed, the tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, courteous, attentive at all of our needs.

Hisham was an amazing driver. He got me to the places, and even though he was driver only, he answered questions. This is okay for a female solo traveler. When you get into the church complex you may find that a guide is helpful so that you don’t miss anything. There are inexpensive guides for hire walking around.

Highly recommend!
It's a completely different experience to visit the market and Islamic Cairo during the evening/night time. There's so much happening, and the buildings look incredible with the night mights; plus, the temperature is more pleasant.
The guide was amazing! Super lively, talkative and informed. He spoke in Spanish and English, making sure everyone got access to all the information. He was also very diligent towards people's dinner choices, as well as providing money for purchases in the market in case the costumers didn't have cash. 5/5, highly recommend!

Abu Simbel private car transfer
It suited us that the excursion started at 7:00, not very early like most tours. The drive took about 3 hours and 30 minutes. The car was clean and the driver drove carefully. We spent two hours at the location and the driver dropped us off in front of the desired restaurant in Aswan. I recommend this tour, the price and service were very good; other tours were much more expensive, even when I tried to arrange it through the accommodation owner. I was a little worried whether the driver would pick us up at the accommodation, because it was written somehow vaguely on the website, i.e. some meeting points are mentioned.

Mahmoud oraby was our guide on this amazing tour. His knowledge of Egyptian history is extensive. He brought the ruins to life with his explanations. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend Mahmoud as a guide. Our driver Abdo expertly maneuvered the crowds, allowing us to picked up and dropped off right at the sites. A wonderful tour!

Worth the trip - Alexandria from Cairo
Long drive from Cairo to Alexandria but break it up halfway with a coffee or juice - very fast drive on very good roads. Alexandria is beautiful and part of the greco Roman history of Egypt, and as relics ar ebrought up rom the sea will become an increasingly interesting place to visit

A Whale of a Time!
We are so glad for this tour with Emo Tours. We had a whale of a time amid awesome ancient seabeds and marine fossils, learning about the geological history of the sea-desert, and finding saltwater waterfalls and lakes amid endless sand dunes. The desert campsite and lunch was a brief yet pleasant experience of desert life, and a welcome respite from Cairo’s urban sprawl. Thanks Fahd(guide) and Adil(driver) for this holiday-within-a-holiday experience!

We had an incredible and very packed day exploring Luxor’s West Bank. The itinerary included the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens and several other fascinating stops.
Both the driver and the guide were great. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, sharing rich historical context and answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. The pace was full but well-organised, allowing us to see so much in just one day without feeling too rushed.

Ahmed was a great guide! The tour went really well.
Reading the comments the day before the tour I almost canceled, but didn't because it was too late for the refund. Thank god, this was great tour and nothing was so wrong as other said.
My hotel was on the island and I choosed via whatsapp to come to starting point at 4am for free. Public ferry works all night and it cost 100egp. It took some time to pick up other people, and we got to Abu Simbel at 9:15, bought tickets, entered, got to the temples and there our guide Ahmed talked some 20min. After that we got 1:15 to enter temples and do whatever. It's enough, you can take it slowly.
Long day, but 100% worth it. Don't forget you are going through the desert most of the time, so you have amazing views as well.
I admit, they could be more organized and not send you the messages about pick up at 11pm night before, that was the only problem I had.

Really good guide
It was a very interesting experience. Our guide was fantastic. He was great at storytelling and had a lot of knowledge.
He was also very open about his own experiences and opinions and it was a great eye opener for foreigners like us. We visited several churches and a synagogue which carry a massive amount of history.
I am not sure if it’s mentioned in the itinerary, to get to the last church you have to drive through the so called ‘garbage city’ - which is not for everyone- and so was visiting the city of the dead - but we are glad we did that as it’s a fascinating part of Cairo. Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was William - very knowledgeable!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Egypt is home to thousands of years of history. Even if you’re visiting for sun, sea, and sand, the top Egypt day trips make it easy to enjoy the nation’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed wonders. Cairo offers pyramids aplenty, plus mosques, bazaars, museums, and Coptic churches, while Luxor, Aswan, and Abu Simbel are famous for tombs and temples. Alexandria delivers catacombs, gardens, and Greco-Roman ruins. Best of all? A professional driver spares you the nation’s crazy traffic, while a guide lets you skip the research altogether.
