Be back another time
Be on time so u get time to see everything. Loved visiting Stirling Castle! Such a beautiful place with amazing views and so much history. Definitely worth seeing!

Chatty but knowledgeable driver
Bring rain gear. Be ready to be resourceful as driver is not a tour director. We had to find our own restaurants. I wish he had given definite times to return to bus. I often rushed back when it was unnecessary. Didn't leave enough time for full Stirling Castle visit. He really wanted to give us ALK the experiences but really??? Cows and a bridge view???

Spend more time at...
Spend more time at Stirling castle and make sure to explore the churchyard in the town. A great tour of the area and made good use of time. A wee dram of whisky didn't hurt either!

The combo of Dunfermline,...
The combo of Dunfermline, Stirling Castle and the Rosslyn Chapel makes for a wonderful day in Scotland. Our driver Murray stopped at the memorial for Robert the Bruce which was not on our agenda but very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this tour.

Must-do!
Excellent tour. Best of all worlds. The distillery is great fun and educational; Loch Lomond is a quick mini-hike and outdoor experience; and Stirling Castle is your history experience. Daniel was a great guide and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour

Ed is a fantastic tour guide!
Ed was an amazing tour guide. His extensive knowledge of Scotland was very impressive. We had messaged him weeks ago about streets that my husband’s family lived on in Dumbarton and we travelled through town visiting the streets. Our children really appreciated being able to see where their grandpa was born. Stirling castle was so interesting and had great historical stories. Dumbarton castle was equally great to see because of the ties to our family. We highly recommend this tour!

Great laid back multi-site tour!
This is a laid back, all-day tour that provided plenty of flexibility and responsiveness to guest’s preferences. Our driver/guide, Bob, was personable and flexible, even allowing us to take longer or shorter time at a particular stop based on the group’s preferences! We got to meet some actual Hairy Coos (the name of the company) on our way to Stirling Castle, and he showed us lots of locales that were inspirations or settings for movies (like Braveheart) tv shows (like Outlander). 10/10!
