Wonderful tour through Cusco! Our guide was fantastic and made our time together memorable as we explored the city. She was flexible and took initiative to give suggestions that made our afternoon fun and full of wonderful experiences that we may have otherwise missed. Overall, I would highly recommend!

This tour was one of the best decisions we made in Cusco and gave us a fantastic grounding before visiting Machu Picchu. We visited Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) first, spending around 45–60 minutes there, which was the perfect introduction to Incan cosmology, religion and the remarkable engineering that underpinned the empire. From there we travelled by comfortable minibus to the hilltop archaeological sites, spending roughly 30–45 minutes at each location — Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. Each stop offered something different: the sheer scale and stonework of Sacsayhuamán was breathtaking; Qenqo felt more spiritual and ceremonial; Puca Pucara gave useful military context; and Tambomachay was a fascinating insight into Incan water engineering and ritual. What really elevated the experience was our guide, Luis. He was exceptional — knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the subject. We learned that he had contributed to a major book on the Incan Empire, and that depth of expertise really came through. Rather than just reciting facts, he brought the civilisation to life, helping us understand not only what we were seeing but why it mattered. Throughout the tour, Luis layered in insightful context about Incan governance, architecture, astronomy and daily life, all delivered in a way that was accessible and memorable. Transport was comfortable, timings were well managed, and we never felt rushed or left waiting. For the quality of guiding, transport and the number of sites covered, this was excellent value for money. I’d highly recommend this tour early in your Cusco stay — it gives you the historical foundation that makes everything else, especially Machu Picchu, far richer.

The guide, “Benni”, was exceptional! Confident in her knowledge of Inca history, she was extremely adept in her responses to even our poorly worded questions and was professional enough use words and phrases that made understanding her explanations easier. She was very engaging, but personable and courteous. Having traveled extensively worldwide, I can confidently say, this was the most engaging and educational tour I have ever taken. Don’t lose her!

Wonderful half day tour of the archeological sites surrounding Cusco. Martin was nolagable and entertaining thought the tour.

Tour guide was prompt, courteous and very informative. There were multiple historical sites, but the duration of the tours at each site were not overly long. The Horse back riding tour guide goes by to the pace of the least experienced rider but allows experienced riders to stretch their legs. We highly recommend this for a day trip in Cusco.

Saqsayhuaman was great. The remaining three was a bit of a breeze - little time spent, but probably to start with the sites have far less depth than saqsayhuaman. The one thing to like is that this is a very early start - and there is no good way to enjoy Saqsayhuaman but start early during peak seasons. The lines are looooonnnnggg

Very fun, but relaxing, tour with a really knowledgeable guide. We did this on the last day of our trip from 8-12 and that left plenty of time for lunch and shopping before we head back home.

A lot of good information, however i was the only English speaker which made a lot of work for the guide. He did an excellent job with great information.
