Excellent tour, don't miss this unique opportunity to learn and support
Very interesting and enlightening tour on life in the Kibera slum. We felt completely safe and even welcomed by the people we encountered on our walk. The tour finished at the SEED foundation primary school where we met some of the teachers and children, who performed songs for us in one of the rooms. Booking this tour ensures that money goes back into the local community.

The Kibera tour is an...
The Kibera tour is an eye-opening and deeply meaningful experience. Despite being known as the largest slum, it is a place full of life, warmth, and incredibly kind people. Our guide, who was raised in Kibera, was highly knowledgeable and shared valuable insights into daily life and the challenges faced by the community. Additionally, the entry fee goes toward developing and supporting a school for underprivileged children, which makes the experience even more impactful.

Best tour ever! Must do in Nairobi
The guide is from the area, and he showed us around the market, local shops, a women’s organisation, his house, his mother’s house, and the school. What they do to support the community is amazing, and we truly enjoyed the tour. It was an unforgettable experience and we totally recommend it.

Most authentic experience in Kenya
Kevin showed me around the area of Kibera slums he grew up in. We visited an orphanage/school, he’s parents house and some local craftsman’s.
I highly recommend Kevin’s Kibera tour if you are short on time and want an amazing Nairobi experience.
Thank you for showing me around your home Kevin,
Robert

An indescribable experience.
If you are worried about safety forget it. This is very safe and nearly everyone greets you with a smile. If you want an experience you won’t forget book this tour. Vincent was my guide and he has lived his entire life in Kibera. This experience is so impactful. If you are fit you will go places other tours don’t go. However they will tailor the tour to your physical abilities. And part of the money goes to the school. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn how this community of people make it work and what they are up against. You won’t regret it.
