Support Kibera people with the help of Rally
Rally is very kind and respectful in Kibera society. He helped us not only to feel a bit the daily life of the people living there but to understand how some of them try to improve people lives especially through education and prospect to leave Kibera.
Please support through your tour to improve people lives.

How the other half live
This Tour was an Eye opener. Vincent my guide was very knowledgeable and explained a lot of things in Kibera. I felt very safe throughout. There’s fair bit of walking through very narrow alleys Vincent was very helpful to make sure I was fine. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who has interest in reality of this world

Best experience ever!
This is once in a lifetime experience. Rally is an exceptional guide, known in the community, and helped us learn everything about the slum and the way of people living there. Nobody should miss it!

Great experience
This experience has been eye-opening. The guide was amazing and the tour we took showed us the way the community helps another. We plan on returning to purchase more from the local businesses and donating again to the school.

A different Easter Sunday
This was a walking tour of just part of the Kibera Slums. Whilst I had mixed feelings about taking this tour - I don’t like the concept of poverty tourism - this tour was not that. It was well planned, well managed and interesting. Our host Effie was considerate throughout. And it was a great touch that Lucas was there to say hello at the end of the tour.
Would thoroughly recommend this tour in order to see a real part of Nairobi life..

Welcoming Smiles and Powerful Stories in Kibera
I had an incredibly moving and memorable experience visiting Kibera, guided by Elijah and organised by Lucas. From start to finish, it felt authentic, respectful, and genuinely insightful.
What stood out most to me was the contrast between what you might expect and what you actually find. There is a real sense of order within the chaos — from the tidy, well-organised market to the intricate maze of streets, everything has its place and rhythm. It completely reshaped my perception.
The people we met were warm, welcoming, and full of life. The children in particular were some of the most polite, kind, and joyful I’ve ever encountered. I was fortunate enough to spend time at a school run by my guides, and that was easily one of the most profound and humbling moments of the entire trip.
Around every corner, there was another story — not of hardship alone, but of resilience, community, and hope.
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to better understand Nairobi beyond the surface, in a way that is both eye-opening and deeply human.

Excellent tour, don't miss this unique opportunity to learn and support
Very interesting and enlightening tour on life in the Kibera slum. We felt completely safe and even welcomed by the people we encountered on our walk. The tour finished at the SEED foundation primary school where we met some of the teachers and children, who performed songs for us in one of the rooms. Booking this tour ensures that money goes back into the local community.

Amazing unexpected experience
This was a wonderful visit that I was not expecting while traveling to Kenya. Our guides Elijah and Effy were simply amazing, as well as Lucas who joined us at the school. There made sure to informed us about the history and life of Kibera and were kindly making sure that everyone could understand, as most of us were not native English speakers. I would recommend this visit to anyone visiting Nairobi to get a different perspective on this world and its ways.

Kibera tour is eye opening and educational.
The Kibera Slum tour was so educational and eye opening. Lucas did a fantastic job leading us through his neighborhood and explaining about the hardships and resilience of its people. The people of Kibera are so special and welcoming. The tour involved a lot of walking on uneven surfaces but well worth it.
