We cross the whole of Boa Vista Island on the famous cobblestone road created by the farmers of the north, to reach the Ervatao nature reserve, an ideal place for the Carreta Carreta turtles to lay their eggs, which normally takes place from June to October. A beautiful beach and a gigantic and secular baobab. We then continue to the Morro Nero lighthouse and the typical colorful and flowery villages, where time seems to have stopped. The round trip takes about 1 hour each way, you can stop to take pictures when you wish. MINIMUM 3 PAX

This hike is a great adventure! The length of excursion can vary depending on your pace of walking - typically one way up is up to 2 hours, then returning on the road can be up to an hour.

This hike, in the crater of Chã das Caldeiras, allows you to climb to the small crater formed by the volcanic eruption of 2014. It is the youngest crater on the island: the small Pico. In this lunar landscape, vegetation (endemic plants and vines) manages to grow here and there. What a contrasting colorful landscape! Another sadder vision is the observation of the destruction caused by the lava flows rejected by this small crater. The inhabitants of the village show courage and are back after leaving their buried homes. Somehow, they rebuild their lives next to the volcano, for which they have great respect. This hike offers a festival of the senses. Visual, olfactory (smell of sulphur), an almost silence touched by the breath of the wind. We cross the dunes of the magical desert of Viana, a true monument of sand created by the wind, then following the old picturesque road we descend to the bay of Boa Esperança where the gutted wreck of the merchantman Cabo Santa Maria is located (more than 300 ships sunk around the island, it is said due to the strong magnetism of the ground which drove the compasses crazy). Then we will arrive at the capital Sal Rei, a former salt export center, the old port is very interesting, dotted with colorful boats. Opposite is Ilheu de Sal Rei, the islet that houses the ruins of a fort built to protect the old village from pirates. In the central square: the Church of S. The visit of the city of São Filipe makes it possible to make a leap in the past and dive into the history of Cape Verde. Its architecture and ancient houses called "Sobrados" are part of the national cultural heritage and tell the colonial history. While strolling in the lanes, the activity around the municipal market makes you return to the reality of the present. You will discover the variety of agricultural products that grow on a volcano and that is the wealth of the island. After the visit of the market, the excursion must end naturally with a gastronomic touch: the tasting of typical products of Cape Verde.

We'll pick you up at your hotel by minibus at 9:00 AM. We'll begin the tour by traveling south of Sal Island, where we'll see the Santa Maria pier and salt flats. Then, we'll head towards Murdeira Bay. After swimming in its refreshing waters, we'll head to the fishing village of Palmeira. From there, we'll head to Buracona Lagoon, a beautiful natural pool. We'll continue our tour through the Terra Boa desert, whose landscapes will surprise us with a curious mirage. Our next stop will be in the island's administrative capital, Espargos, where you'll have an hour of free time to enjoy lunch on your own. With our energy recharged, we'll climb to a famous viewpoint to admire the island's views. The tour continues towards the shores of Parda Bay, famous for being the natural habitat of lemon sharks. Very close by are the Pedra de Luma salt flats. Nearby are a series of lagoons where, like the Dead Sea, you can float in their waters. A perfect opportunity to tone your skin naturally!
