If you’ve just arrived in Brașov, this is the tour to take.
Meet your certified local guide in front of the George Barițiu Library and spend the next few hours walking through the medieval heart of one of Transylvania’s most layered cities.
The route covers Brașov’s essential landmarks, including the White Tower, Black Tower, Graft Bastion, Council Square, the Black Church, Honterus Courtyard, Rope Street, Catherine’s Gate, Șchei Gate, and the Weavers’ Bastion.
This is a fully outdoor walking tour. You will not enter any of the sites, but you will understand how Brașov developed through Saxon trade, guild power, religious conflict, fortifications, and the overlapping cultures that shaped the city.
The tour is designed as a small-group experience, with time for questions, photo stops, and real conversation rather than just information delivery.
At the end, every participant receives a detailed local guide to Brașov, including restaurants, cafés, wine bars, viewpoints, and bakeries
