This excursion is a must for guests visiting Boavista from July to October!! Starting in November, we offer the tour to see slipperies and bring them into the water, so save them from their enemies the crab! We conduct the excursion in a small group. and each guest will see the entire process of laying eggs. In addition, each participant has enough time to take photos and/or film. Stephane, one of our local guides, says, ‘The shipwreck is one of Boa Vista's most iconic sights. When the ship ran aground in 1968 the crew escaped unharmed. Strong tugs were sent from neighbouring islands to try to move the ship, but it was stuck fast. It took nearly a year to unload the cargo and take it by mule to Sal Rei.'

Watch turtles lay their eggs

Why turtle watching with Rotcha-Tours? A professional, well-coordinated team that eliminates unnecessary walking on the beaches. Because we work with radio and send the guys ahead with whom we are in constant contact. We will pick you up from your hotel or holiday accommodation at around 6 p.m. After about an hour's drive, we will reach the nature reserve on the east coast of Boa Vista, where 80% of the egg laying takes place. I ask you to wear good shoes and dark and warm clothing! Sometimes we have to be patient, depending on when we can observe the egg laying, we are back at around 11 p.m. 99.9% sighting guarantee.
