Absolutely brilliant once in a life time experience Anita really knows her job no waiting around the rangers on turtle beach know exactly where to take us and being so close to the river end of the turtle season not only did we get to see the eggs being laid we also got to see the newly hatched baby turtles and help the rangers transfer them safely to the sea the pickup after mine no one was there the driver spent about 10 minutes on the phone about this which is reassuring they are worried about making sure they’ve got all their passengers not oh well they’re not here never mind

We saw turtles which was great but as a person who has carried out turtle conservation work I am shocked in how the guide allowed people to touch the turtle and even pick up an egg and handle it. Please, these types of trips are for viewing. We don't need to intrude

A natural spectacle on the south coast

Very worthwhile night trip to the south coast in the middle of a guarded nature reserve on the edge of moonlit dunes. Arrived after just a few minutes we found it and could observe the laying of eggs of a magnificent fake cartreto turtle very close for a good 30 minutes until closing the breeding ground under expert direction (and great red lighting). A must-see experience, especially as it was perfectly organized by Rotcha Tours (Anita and our safe 4x4 driver who is open to all questions).
