What truly set him apart, however, was his genuine care for our well-being. He went completely out of his way to navigate my food allergies safely and was incredibly mindful of my husband’s leg injury, adjusting our pace and route to ensure he was comfortable. Trip of a lifetime with baby and elderly!

Absolutely amazing two-day experience from start to finish! It was the highlight of our China trip. Lisa our tour guide was knowledgeable, entertaining, thoughtful, and so very accommodating in every step of the way to our family! We did the private tour with a sometimes fussy one-year old baby and a 88 year old with dementia and mobility issues. Lisa and our wonderful driver were able to get us to one amazing sight after another with ease despite the challenges of traveling with a baby and elderly. Some of my favorite aspects of the tour: 1. Lisa, our tour guide, was fantastic. She’s extremely attentive, making sure all members of our family were taken care of. Often, she helped hold our elderly grandma’s arm while walking uneven ground and our baby’s diaper bag when our hands were full! Her English is at level of native speaker. Her knowledge of each historical site and general history was impressive. Super friendly, punctual, and consummate professional 2. The private van was spacious, new, and clean with a very safe and kind driver! We felt very comfortable and safe with the 5 of us! 3. Restaurants for lunch both days were great. Clean, tasty, and had food ready for us upon arrival with zero wait! Great choices! 4. Well-planned! Very thoughtful itinerary, Not too rushed but still packed with ample learning and entertainment! 5. Very tailored tour! Lisa, our tour guide, was able to accommodate the tour for our interest and for our specific needs. Worth every penny! Book it!

Absolutely fantastic...

Absolutely fantastic experience. Our driver was lovely. Was at our hotel ontime bright and early at 6:30am. He organised our tickets for the lift and told us to just take our time and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend booking this tour and getting the earliest time of 6:30am. We were leaving when many of the crowds were just arriving. Was a great experience being on the wall with no other tourists. Easier to take pictures!

Kathy is an incredibly professional guide providing historical information and practical tips to ensure an excellent experience at Great Wall. Punctual, ensured we avoided long queues by leaving early and also queuing on our behalf to take toboggan down, also took trouble to explain the dynasties and key info to understand historical events. We had an unforgettable...

We had an unforgettable experience on this tour and it is due to Lily being an amazing tour guide! From the start, she greeted us with a warm welcome and made sure we knew the plan for the day. We were able to see all the pandas at the Beijing Zoo since Lily knew the best time of day to visit. Our photos and videos from The Great Wall were breathtaking since she made sure we stopped at all the right spots. On the way back to our hotel, we even made an unplanned stop at a tea house since Lily knew we enjoyed tea and this was another great experience. All in all, we had a wonderful day full of memories for a lifetime and we owe a special thank you to Lily for her care of us during our trip to Beijing. My mom wanted to give her 10 stars!

This is a beautiful part of the wall to visit, offering a great 6km hike, and fewer crowds than parts of the wall closer to Beijing. Jackie was a great driver, and it was very convenient to hire someone if you’re short on time as this part of the wall is 2-2.5 hours from Beijing.
