Excellent full day tour!

While this was a very long day and a lot of time spent in the van, it was completely worth it to get to see the beautiful scenery and experience some very special places! We were very fortunate that any rain we had that day came from time to time during the drive and then there was some spectacular light and sun during the stops we made. We drove about 15 km right on 90 Mile Beach without anyone else in sight nearly the whole time! Gorgeous! Getting to see and experience Cape Reinga was awesome! A beautiful place with great spiritual significance to the Māori. Our tour guide Holger did a great job driving and showing us these special places and gave us extra time in those places at our request. (None of us chose to surf the dunes, which gave more time for the other activities). While sand surfing sounded and looked very fun, at my age, unfortunately it wasn't a good idea! I highly recommend this tour!

A great way to see the Far North of New Zealand with a knowledgeable local guide. The service was punctual with good time allowed for each activity and transit between them. The guide, Bill was very pleasant and informative without talking too much.

This day trip was such a gem! Our guide, Derek was very informative, helpful and friendly. There were only 5 of us on the bus, and we all had a blast. There was no time pressure at all, we could enjoy each destination in our own pace. Derek was kind enough to even show us some places on our way those actually were not on the tour. Overall great experience and we very lucky with the weather, which was quite unstable but still allowed us to experience the best of each location

It is an enjoyable day. A great way to see and drive on 90 mile beach, and see the staircase carved inside a giant kauri tree.

It was a really great day made even more memorable by our driver/ guide who was amazing and gave his so much interesting information and took us to lovely bays that we would never have known. So worth the money!
