Perfect day
Alex was the perfect host. He provided depth and insight when we asked as well as always keeping things fun moving throughout the day. We had an excellent lunch at just the right time and he brought us to little treasures that we would have never found ourselves. A wonderful day!

Lovely day of castle viewing
Very nice day . We liked the personal experience without big groups . It is worth to do both castles but there is a lot of walking and stairs involved so wear good shoes and be prepared to climb stairs and walk uphill . Best to go later in the season ie April when the fountains are uncovered and the water features are working but it was still nice as there were no crowds .

Long fun day
Had a blast with our guide Sigmund, he’s great. He was kind, knowledgeable, and took great photos. Bring cash for lunch around $25/person (nice place), souvenirs, and to tip your guide. This excursion was our favorite thing we did for our European vacation. It is a long day, with a delicious lunch. Lots of twists and turns driving, maybe bring some motion sickness medicine if you’re sensitive. Bring a good quality poncho and maybe some rain pants if there is a possibility of rain. Bring water and snacks for the kids. The big castle, take the bus up and walk down. It’s a beautiful walk.

Must do when in Munich
This was a private tour and it was great to customize it. We opted to go down the alpine coaster as an activity. Mike was awesome and so knowledgeable. Our entire family loved it!

  • The Passion Play takes place in German, though accompanying English texts are provided.

  • The 4,500-seat Passion Play Theatre is partly exposed, so wear layers.

  • For the most impressive panoramic views of the town, take a cable car to Kofel, the nearest mountain.
