Must do
Vito was a great guide. He was knowledgeable about Bari, Giovinazzo and Trani. He showed me the highlights of these towns and was a great conversationalist. I highly recommend this tour.

Fun in the sun in Italy
We love our guide Itanata. She was friendly and knowledgeable. Itanata asked us what we wanted to get out of our tour and she delivered. It was so much fum to see the CdM and visit Trani. One of the highlights was lunch with her at a very nice seafood restaurant. We look forward to coming back to Italy and doing more tours with her.

Trani and Castel Del Monte
It happened to be a holiday when we visited this lovely port city of Trani, so we got to see a marching band and fireworks - first time we ever saw fireworks during the day. Natalia, our most knowledgeable guide, told us a lot about the history of the area as well as the wonderfully preserved 13th century castle. I highly recommend this tour.

When to visit

Trani is ideal for families who need a break from the chaotic port city of Bari.
You’ll spend most of your time in Trani walking outdoors, so a hat and sunscreen are highly recommended.
The town center is level and well-paved, but many of the historic churches and the synagogue are not accessible to wheelchair users.
Visitors must wear modest clothing covering shoulders and knees to enter the town’s cathedral and synagogue.
