A Must Do In Bali!!

If you’re considering an this tour—book it, and if you can, ask for John as your guide. He truly made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment the tour started, John went above and beyond. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing Balinese culture. What stood out most was how knowledgeable he is—every stop felt so much more meaningful because of the stories and insights he shared. At the Monkey Forest, he gave us great tips on how to safely interact with the monkeys while still enjoying the experience. At the waterfall, he made sure everyone had time to take in the beauty without feeling rushed, and he even helped with photos so we could capture the moment. At the temple, he explained the cultural and spiritual significance in such a respectful and engaging way—it really added depth to the visit. John also paid attention to the little details—checking in on everyone, keeping the day running smoothly, and making sure we were always comfortable. It felt personalized, not like a generic tour. Honestly, this tour would have been great on its own—but John made it exceptional. Our day in Bali was truly fabulous, thanks to our guide, Ketut Ajus, who led us on a tour that covered various aspects of the local culture, traditions, and family life. The DWT GEO GAJAH was our first stop, where Ketut provided a highly informative tour with the the Elephant Cave. Next, we visited the stunning rice terraces. An unexpected highlight was our stop at a coffee plantation, where we tasted 15 different flavors. Ketut chose a great place for lunch, and then we headed to the Tengenungan Falls. Ketut delivered us safely back to our ship in plenty of time before our departure.

Best day on the water

We had the most amazing time during our boat adventure! Nemo and Morgan were incredible tour guides and mates on the boat. They literally brought a ladder to Nusa Penida to stand on in order to get the best shot for our photos there from the top of the cliff. We saw incredible marine life, including sea turtles, and manta rays during our snorkel stops. They took so many awesome photos and videos as well. Would 12/10 recommend to anyone!!!

Incredible snorkeling day led by fantastic guides, Fernando and Yogi!

This was a fantastic day of snorkeling!! Our guides, Fernando and Yogi, took us to the most beautiful, healthy reefs where we saw hundreds of fish, huge Manta, Rays, Giant Sea Turtles, and Clown Fish (Nemo)!! They knew just where to take us for incredible snorkeling! And they even videotaped our experiences as part of our package!! I have beautiful footage of me swimming and hundreds of fish!! They also took us to a lovely cliffside restaurant for lunch and then drove up to the very top of the island to see the famous T-Rex outcropping and took photos of each of us there for a great memory shot!! They provided water all day and in the afternoon Yogi even brought out a plate of fresh fruit to refresh us!! The drop off/pick up point is a little café and you can grab a little pastry and coffee beforehand and it even has a shower for a quick rinse off after the day. We were staying in Ubud , about 45 minutes away, but we hired a driver from one of our earlier excursions and he got us there really easily and we were able to enjoy the scenery on the way! It was kind of a perfect combo! I really can’t say enough good things about how fantastic the trip was and how great Fernando and Yogi made it! I loved all of it!! This was an incredible day and I would recommend it to anyone going to Bali!!

Our water temples tour...

Our water temples tour with Mr. Udi was one of the best tours we have ever been on. We learned so much from him about Balinese culture, family life, art, philosophy, nature, and more. He was relaxed, personable, informative without being overbearing, talented photographer, and a very competent driver. He took us to 3 temples that were each so uniquely different and interesting. We were so fortunate to witness ceremonies at one of the temples. At the rice terraces, we enjoyed a delicious traditional lunch with a breathtaking view, then were able to trek through the rice fields afterward, which we enjoyed immensely. He even transported us and our luggage to our next hotel at the end of the tour. Highly recommend this tour with Mr. Udi!

We had an amazing time ATV riding, and I can’t recommend this excursion enough! The ride itself was incredibly fun — full of excitement, great views, and just the right amount of adventure. Definitely come prepared to get a bit muddy! I recommend bringing a change of clothes and socks. They provide boots, lockers, shower rooms, and towels, which makes everything super convenient. You can also buy ponchos in the shop if you need them. A special shoutout to Bawi, our driver, who was so nice and professional the entire time. He took great care of us and made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a memorable and enjoyable excursion, this is absolutely the one to choose!

Fun day!

Our day started off amazing with our driver Wahyu arriving promptly bright early to pick us up. She was so lovely and very informative. Great driver as well, felt very safe the hectic roads. The day trip was awesome. It’s pretty full on and a big day but worth it. Manta Ray time of year is April and May so you might. It seems Manta rays depending on when you go but the water is forty and reef vibrant. We went in off season and it was still very busy (October). I can’t imagine what peak season is like. Great trip all around.
