Unfortunately roads were a bit scary and long time from one point to the next over 1.5 hours that we decided to end the tour after only two stops
Of note driver on the way was dirty, itching his body non stop and kept saying he was tired yawning with small talk that made us uncomfortable thankfully he was changed in our way back and other driver was amazing

Stunningly beautiful. Must do both islands. The guide/driver was very friendly. He was in pain but still accompanied us wherever he could. The roads are not the best so it won't be good for people with severe neck or back issues. A lot of steps to the beaches but it's worth it. Thank you.

Didi was the best! We had a great day in Nusa Penida. He showed us the greatest spots and we gained so much beautiful memories. Didi was so kind and friendly we absolute recommend this trip - especially with the driver Didi! :-)

The tour was misleading, there is no time to visit all 5 beach’s with the small roads, traffic and bumpy ride. At most you can see 2 beach’s, three maybe. We ended up only swing one beach, and just saw one from a distance, took a photo and left.
Wasted a whole day in the car / when we could have just enjoyed a beach day in Bali relaxing.

Well organized trip from the tour operator. However, for our taste a bit too touristy & crowded at the spots.
What we want to highlight is Dede, our driver on Nusa Penida. He was very friendly and shared some interesting facts about the life on the island!

The hotel pick up & drop off service was good and driver was friendly.
However we were extremely disappointed with the driver who drove us around Nusa peninda. (I think his name was Wylan).
The roads were extremely bumpy and given that I suffer with backache, I asked if he could stopover for at least for 5 min so I can stretch & get some respite from horrible roads however he refused stating that it would disturb his time schedule and stopping for 5 min is not a part of itinerary . We found this to be extremely rude and unempathetic.
When Mr wylan himself took couple of comfort breaks for natural emergencies.
The driver kept on grumbling why we chose east & west island tour when majority of tourist chose only west.
I noticed that other drivers from different tour groups were helping their customers in explaining about the locations but also booking & blocking the best photo locations and taking their customers photographs for ages.
Mr Wylan was not interested in helping out ( though I did not expect him to take our photographs. )
In fact, other drivers were kind and took our family pictures.
Mr Wylan was the most grumpiest , uncooperative driver I came across in my entire 3 weeks stay in Indonesia. Such people should not be provided with customer facing jobs as it ruins the experience and we are left with no choice but put up with it at very last moment.
Besides, itinerary is such that all travel groups end up at same place more or less same time as a result - we hardly manged to get glimpse of Kelingking Beach due to overcrowding - when it was supposed to be highlight of our tour.
On a separate note, it is important that you highlight the roads are not developed and at places non-existent with actual pictures so individuals with health condition's can take informed decision.

Overall good experience. Beautiful scenery especially the spectacular coastal sights. Good driver who was also our excellent guide and spoke good English. The bad: Boat to/from Nusa Penida was hot and stuffy and crammed full. Need to improve entry and exit on boat. Car not the best.and somewhat noisy. The windshield wipers need to be replaced and always left smear and streaks. Surprised the driver tolerated the bad visibility through windshield. The roads on Nusa Penida are very bad with broken pavement in many areas. With all the tourists, would think the government would do some road repairs especially to areas frequented by tourists.

Our driver, Putu, was excellent. He went to the right spots before the crowds came. Diamond Beach is breathtaking! If you can, take the steep stairs down to the beach. For less people, walk all the way to the other end of the beach. No one was down there and we felt we have it all to ourselves.

The views are breathtaking. Great for those that want the perfect scenic background picture. The boat ride is crowded and if you are prone to motion sickness, you will get sick! To get to the views, there is a hike down and up steep steps. I would recommend these hikes for someone who wants a challenge. There is no swimming at the beaches unless you get the water activity tours. The island is not developed so there are still lots of dirt and rocky roads. Sturdy shoes are a good idea and active wear too. I was hoping to be able to do more then just sightseeing.

We had a great experience with our tour and tour guide today, Nusa Penida was the highlight of our trip to Bali and we would recommend this to everyone!! I thought this was very much worth the money! It is going to be a long day due to the driving and boat rides so be ready. These guys did great with the service though. Bring snacks, water, and be ready to hike.

We were kindly picked up from our hotel in Seminyak and dropped off at the harbour. Our boat was booked for 08:30 however we didn’t leave the harbour until 09:45 (I think we waited for some people). When we arrived on the island, we found our driver who was super friendly and accommodating throughout the day. Unfortunately the day is not what you would assume as described on the online itinerary. We were in the car for most of the day, spending about 10-15 minutes in each of the 5 locations taking photos. It took us almost 2 hours to get to diamond beach due to traffic and the journey. We also thought we would spend some time on the beaches however this was not the case. The sights were absolutely beautiful and would definitely recommend doing some kind of tour to see the island view points but would probably recommend only doing the east or west side alone and not together to prevent long journeys or a lot of car time. Or if you’re willing to spend a bit more, I would also recommend doing the tour yourself, there are lots of taxi companies offering rides when you get to the island. We also had free lunch which was amazing cultural food and water was given throughout the day which was kind.

Spending 6.5hrs travelling via car and ferry on undeveloped pot-hole filled roads barely 2 cars width for passing traffic, to see 3 scenery points was not worth the trip or the money. Tourist toilets are Balinese style, not clean to western standards, and you have to pay for them.
Drivers were awesome. 🙏😊
However this is a tourist trap to bring tourist $ to an island that badly needs development. In 20yrs time when the $ have upgraded the roads and better facilities are in place, it'll be another Lambok.
In the meantime- beware. Very much felt like a cattle run to get the tourists $.

We had an amazing time with Nyoman at the tour. He explained the driving duration from one stop to the other and taught us some facts about the island of nusa penida. He showed us where to take the best photos and also took some great ones of us himself. He waited with us to get on our boat back to Sanur harbor and even bought us drinks when we didn’t have cash in hand. We didn’t have breakfast but we ended up accompanying us to a beautiful restaurant with amazing food so we wouldn’t feel so sluggish til it was lunch time. Overall, an amazing tour! Nyoman was hands down amazing

The island itself is beautiful with stunning beaches and sites but the tour guides are untrained in serving customers satisfactorily taking from what otherwise could be an amazing tour. Guides need to be experienced in how to handle foreign travellers and be considerate, cooperative. Respectful, helpful and friendly at all times. Better to organise through alternative tour operators.

The sites visited were beautiful;however, our guide barely spoke to us, did not provide much, if any, overview, history, or background on the area or sites despite being a native of the island. And the place we stopped for luch was sub-par and a tourist trap. I have done many tours with Viator and the right guide can make or break the experience. This one fell short unfortunately!

This was an unexpected private tour for the two of us. The pickup was timely and the driver was very knowledgeable about the island as he was a lifelong resident. The stops were awesome and beautiful, especially the seaweed farm which was an added bonus. The only beef we had was the roads were horrible. Potted, bumpy and extremely narrow. Also it took 45-50 minutes to get to each tour spot. We were beat to shreds by the end of the day jostling around in the tour car. While the 4 stops were awesome, we would probably explore another island next time. Taking a boat cruise is an option, but you would miss the gorgeous overlook views. Now, Crystal Bay was awesome. We could have spent hours there!

Sent a message to tour guide 2 days before your confirming address for pickup, they replied confirming. Pickup was MEANT to be 6:30am. I messaged them at 6am asking what time they were arriving, no reply. 6:45 we messaged and asked where the driver was, they advised they forgot us and would have someone to get us ASAP. Ferry was at 7, driver got us at 7:30. Didn’t get to the terminal until 8:25. Driver was rushing and almost crashed the car on multiple occasions. 3 calls from his boss. We told the driver we felt unsafe and to stop driving reckless, he didn’t listen.
Got to the ferry terminal and our ticket was for a bait that left (at 7am) so we were squished into a different boat. Driver at the island was not made aware and we couldn’t find him for 20 mins as he was waiting at a different boat.
Driver in the island said it we would have to miss parts of the tour and forfeit any swimming etc because we were late. We missed out of the main things we wanted to do and our entire day was rushing and awful.
We requested a partial refund and Viator said no and for no valid (or even backed up) reason. I actually had to chase a response to my requests for a refund.
Two days after the tour my PayPal (that I used to pay for the tour) was hacked. I received multiple texts of someone in Bali trying to change my password. Then, the debit amount for the tour ($300 roughly) was taken out of my account AGAIN. It said I had entered into a “direct debit” with Viator.
Please do not use this site or their dodgy local operators.

This is a great day trip to go on whilst in Bali and is a definite must! You get to visit an island that has a beauty about it that can only be appreciated by visiting the island. We opted for this tour as it gave us the highlights we wanted to see in one succinct package. Putu was our guide and he was very professional, kind and really warming and ensured we had the best viewpoints whilst also ensuring we got back to our boat transfer in time. Would highly recommend you ask for putu and this tour! One tip I would recommend, and this isn’t specific to this tour but all tours on the island require the fast boat from a sea terminal near Seminyak to the island. Although it is indeed fast (takes about 45 minutes to an hour), there is no actual deck/walkway for you to get onto the boat itself and so you’ll be wading through the waves on the beach to get onto the boat (which is about knee deep) so be prepared for that and take shoes you don’t mind getting potentially ruined/of low value)

Our tour guide was terrible! I can't even remember his name. From the minute we met him he practically ignored us - walked 20 steps ahead of us the whole time. Hardly spoke at all. Drove like a maniac. Wanted to rush us from one spot to the next. At Diamond Beach we decided to make the hike down the mountain to the magnificent beach much to his disgust he tried to talk us out of it saying it was too scary. He didn't help us at all he stayed at the top. All the other tourist guides went down the track with them and took amazing photos for them and helped them up down and back up the steep descent. He told us nothing about the Island itself - no history - no places of interest NOTHING! We could not wait for the trip to end and get back to the harbour we felt like we had been on a rollercoaster. On the other hand our driver that picked us up from our hotel - dropped us at the ferry - returned us to our hotel WAS AMAZING!!!! 5 STARS FOR HIM!!!! But for the tour guide on the island 0 STARS!

This experience was well worth it. I recommend paying extra for the hotel transfer to Sanur rather than finding your own driver. Your driver does everything for you, and it can get quite chaotic at the port. They get your pass for the boat and make sure you are on the right one! After a pleasant 40 mins you arrive at Nusa Penida where another driver will meet you with your name on a sign. Too easy! Katut was brilliant. He took us to East and West and even went out of his way to find us a beach that we could swim at. Diamond beach is a huge decent down a cliff but well worth it. Queues for this can expand the height of the cliff so go early. You have to see these places to believe the colour of the water.
