What are people saying about Baku

We went to all the places...
We went to all the places on the itinerary, and they all seemed worth visiting. Our guide, Riad, made sure things kept moving, which did sometimes mean that things felt a bit rushed, but in retrospect I think it was good because otherwise the tour would have taken even longer, and it was already quite long. It was also impressive how Riad juggled speaking three different languages to different parts of the group without ever really seeming to neglect anybody. He did talk quite fast, but his English was good, so he was easy to understand. We had lunch included, too - it was in a nice setting, was also handled efficiently, and the food was of better quality than on other excursions I've participated in.

Pinklake and candy mountain
This is one of my best tour I have ever had in Baku. Thanks to our young and energetic guide Servi. She made our trip unforgettable. She has much knowledge about the places and explained all of them in very detail. Also Im lucky to experience the very best of pink lake

Baku to Guba, Candy Cane, Khinaliq village with homemade lunch
I really enjoyed this tour. Lila was a fantastic tour guide and we had a lot of fun. It’s quite a long day but very enjoyable. It’s a shame we couldn’t see the pink lake but I understand it’s only pink at certain times of the year. It was very cold in Khinaliq village when I was there so bear that in mind. We had a lovely lunch up in the mountains with amazing views. Thank you Lila for making it so special. I will remember it always.

One of the best group...
One of the best group tours. Huseyin as a host of this trip was an amazing communicator and knowledgeable to provide us with the history of each place. I faced a problem to navigate my way to the pick up point and he made sure to wait and pick me up from that spot.
I highly recommend anyone travelling solo to be part of this journey. The hike up to the khinaliq village for views and the food is definitely worth it all.

A Gobustan excursion
It Was an interesting tour. I learnt a lot at Gobustan stone art, I loved visiting the Zoroastrism temple and museum. It did not particularly like the tour guide, there was an unwilling to help make photos and a disdain for what he deemed "tourist behaviour". Go on this tour if tou really love nature, history and culture, it is not a fancy tour but educative.

No Drama Airport pickup
Excellent experience. The driver reached out a couple of days before on WhatsApp to introduce himself. On pick up day my flight was a little late and arrived after midnight. but no worries, the driver was where he said he would be with a sign. Car was luxury and his driving was excellent. I highly recommend and will not hesitate to use next time I'm in Baku.

Well-organized and a good overview
If I could give this a more precise rating it would have been about 4.6. The flaws were not at all major, just worth considering.
Pro - Well-organized. The trip was laid out intelligently and it was very complete of what you could see in the environs of Baku. Said, our guide, was patient and well-informed. Especially for some of the later things (including the Zoroastrian temple) he really knew the subject. The Petroglyphs are the highlight of the tour.
Cons - minimal. Said's accent was sometimes a little hard to understand. It was easier for me as a native English speaker. Also, it's a relatively long day with a lot of ground to cover, so be well-rested before you begin.

Great day out and overview of major attractions
A very enjoyable day out! This tour takes in the main attractions around Baku. Our guide, Saed, was fun and friendly and very considerate, always preparing us in advance for the next thing, what to do and not to do, pointing out the toilets and refreshments….
If you are only here a few days, this is the perfect way to cover a lot of ground quickly! Highly recommended!

Amazing experience
We had an amazing Shahdag tour with our guide Murad! The trip covered so many beautiful places including Candy Cane Mountain, Pink Lake, 4 Finger Mountain, Shahdag, and Quba City. Everything was very well organized and enjoyable.
At Shahdag, me and my wife had a fantastic time doing the Alpine Coaster, zip line, and chair lift rides — such a fun and exciting experience with breathtaking views!
We also enjoyed a delicious traditional lunch in the beautiful Gachresh Forest near Quba, which made the trip even more special and relaxing.
The bus was comfortable, the driver was professional and safe, and Murad was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout the tour. He made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the journey.
Just one thing that the time at shahdag i.e 2 hrs is a bit short so maybe extend the time to cover the activities.
Otherwise Highly recommended tour and guide for anyone visiting Azerbaijan!

Fun in the Mountains...on the Caspian Coast...
This tour was definitely well planned and built for fun....the highlights are definitely the Candy Cane Mountains and the main attraction without a doubt was the Besh Bermak Mountain with stunning views of the Caucasus and the Caspian Sea simultaneously....we saw eagles just flying by like airplanes....Namik was a really great guide he is very knowledgeable but most importantly he was always keen on making us having fun even during the rides between stops we played trivia and had a blast...our driver Mahmoud had a difficult and challenging task of driving off road and penetrating the Baku traffic and he did it with grace and efficiency....I had a lovely time....

Great highlight tour of Baku
I chose the private (with pickup) option for this tour, as I was travelling with my senior parent, and I wanted her to be comfortable with the pace.
We were picked up promptly at our hotel, and were joined by our tour guide shortly thereafter. Because it was cold (early March), our tour started at the Heydar Aliyev Centre, and we proceeded to through all the highlights of the city in sequence.
I have been on a lot of tours, and most of the guides are always kind, considerate, well informed, and welcoming. This guide, Elcan, went above and beyond. A young, sprightly, enthusiastic person, he put up with two older ladies traipsing along at their own pace without complaint. He didn't hurry us through the tour (even though he could easily have), and took the time to explain each attraction to us in detail.
He even helped my mother over slightly trickier terrain, and he absolutely did not have to do that. It was much appreciated though.
A word of appreciation for the tour company as well; they were communicative, prompt and mostly quite flexible. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

A wonderful day in Baku
We saw the best of Baku under the very capable direction of our tour guide.
Our guide knew the history and location of everything, and he was amazingly attentive and helpful.
In addition, we had an authentic lunch in a gem of a restaurant, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Overall, I highly recommend this tour as a great way to see the sights and fill a memorable day in this wonderful city.

The capital city of Azerbaijan is known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning location on the Caspian Sea. If you want to see some of the sites in Baku’s Old City, a Baku tour can show you the medieval city walls and Maiden Towers juxtaposed alongside contemporary architecture like the Flame Towers. Many visitors wish to head outside the city to the nearby regions of Shamakhi, Ismailli, Gabala, and Sheki, where your expert guide will show you beautiful mosques, vibrant bazaars, and historic palaces.
