What are people saying about Bacalar

We had a great...
We had a great experience, would highly recommend this tour! The guides Carlitos and Miguel were fabulous - they were really knowledgable about the lagoon and Bacalar and were both great vibes all round. They were also crucially very conscious about the environment and preserving the lagoon which is not something you come across often. Great cocktails too!

Yes, you should book with them!
Wonderful experience with Wild Wave Bacalar out of Casa Sirena. There are so many tour companies to choose for and I'm glad I picked the perfect one. They were wonderful hosts and Silvia my tour guide/captain was fantastic. She was great at explaining everything and the importance of our environmental impact on the Laguna's ecosystem especially the estromilitios. Would recommend to everyone. Just be mindful if you're solo and no one else books the group tour you may need to make an arrangement with them for day/time etc... Also the fruit provided on board was delicious!

Tour with Best Captain without the captain 💙 cap
Great experience and worth every penny we spent. Our Captain Angelo was very friendly, skilled, multilingual and knowledgeable about the lake and its eco systems. He made sure that we had the best time even though the weather was not cooperating at the beginning. It was raining little hard at the beginning but he changed the plan slightly to swim instead. It was so fun to swin in the rain. I recommend Angelo to future traveller.

Visitors to the Quintana Roo town of Bacalar are primarily there to experience the beauty of Lake Bacalar, also known as the “Lagoon of Seven Colors.” Whether you book a catamaran tour or stand-up paddleboard excursion, your expert-guided Bacalar tour will show you the deserted islands, rock formations, and migratory birds that make this part of Mexico extra special. Go snorkeling in the cenotes, pass through the “pirates’ channel,” and soak up the sun in the self-proclaimed Maldives of Mexico.
