Fabulous experience with tequila flowing all afternoon. We were lucky enough to have Miguel and Sam on board who were both incredibly informative and a good laugh. Would definitely recommend the experience to all travellers wishing to enjoy some beautiful views, some great drinks and lovely staff!

We had a great experience, would highly recommend this tour! The guides Carlitos and Miguel were fabulous - they were really knowledgable about the lagoon and Bacalar and were both great vibes all round. They were also crucially very conscious about the environment and preserving the lagoon which is not something you come across often. Great cocktails too!

Amir Boat Tours ran a very nice tour. We were a group of 4 and had the whole boat to ourselves. It wouldn’t have been as good if the boat was packed. It could hold at least 13 and maybe as many as 18, but don’t rely on that from me. What really made it special was Rommel, our guide. It’s clear that he loves his job and he is e knowledgeable and enthusiastic about it. We swam 3 times during our trip. The water of the lagoon is warm and clear.

I had a great time on the boat. We had a small fun group of 7 and Roman was awesome! Learned a lot about the lagoon but had a lot of fun. Arrived solo, but met some wonderful people.

We had an absolutely incredible 4 hours with Romal yesterday. He is funny, knowledgable, fun, responsible and has a real passion for this area and what he does.
All 4 stops were totally different and the lagoon is just stunning, it’s unlike anywhere I have ever been. The drinks and food were the icing on the cake! Tequila Sunrises at sunset! Priceless!

Amazing experience being able to learn about the lagoon while touring it on the boat. The boat took us to shallower spots on the lagoon where we felt comfortable enough to swim and frolic around. Both Miguel and Samuel were very friendly and informative.

This was fantastic and loads of fun. Our guides took us across the lagoon to some safe shallow areas for a few swims, played games with us, gave us food and drink, and taught us about the area from their local knowldge. Perfect. This is essential if you are in the area.

The lagoon trip was great. Our two guides were terrific, they told us a lot of information about the lagoon and its history. Our two guides were Romel and Sam. They were a lot of fun, kept us laughing and smiling. Sam was a new guy but he did a great job. Romel has been our guide before and just like before he was great and that’s the reason we keep coming back and booking this tour. Our tour guide Romal was so insightful on the history of the lagoon and surrounding area. He was very personable and made the trip memorable. The waters did not disappoint in their colors and were worth every effort to make it to the lagoon.

We had a fantastic experience overall. In advance, the tour company was very responsive to our questions. It turned out no one else booked our morning time slot so they offered us a discount to join the sunset tour. We couldn't do that so they still did the morning tour just for us.
It was a great way to experience the beauty of Bacalar Lagoon. Our guide Miguel was fantastic. He gave a great tour with plenty of knowledge of the history and features of the lagoon. He was great with our kids and constantly attentive to our needs, checking on whether we needed drinks or were hungry. The floating picnic he prepared was very refreshing. I would definitely recommend this experience and try to get Miguel if you can!

Wonderful opportunity to see the full beauty of the cenotes. The four hours went by so quickly and Miguel was a wonderful captain. The drinks were plentiful and the options consisted of Tequilla Sunrise, Paloma, Sol , Dos Equis, water or soft drinks. The fruit snack was amazing. The mango was the best I’ve ever had and the “honey” pineapple was so delicious

We had a great time on this excursion! Miguel and Sam were great guides and incredibly gracious throughout. Our boat was full with 15 adults and 2 children. It would have been nice with fewer people -- more space to move around, get out of the sun, etc. -- but there weren't many boats out on the water, so that was nice. The drinks and snacks were delicious and there was plenty for everyone. Just keep in mind that sunscreen is not allowed in the lagoon, and you are on the water for 4 hours, so dress accordingly and bring your own towels!

Excellent trip. Romel was great!! They were fun and engaging. Trip was perfect length. Only complaint is that we didn’t get our fruit until the last stop.
