We would highly recommend Emo Tours Egypt - everything about the tour was beyond expectations. Abu Simbel itself was of course fantastic and well worth the long drive, and there are many companies offering tours, so my review is about Emo Tours. Communication from the company was excellent, instant response to questions on WhatsApp. We organised the pick up point (a cruise boat in our case) directly with the company via WhatsApp. The pick up was on time, the car was almost new and very comfortable, and our driver Mohammed was a very good, safe driver. With the comfortable car and very good straight roads we got to Abu Simbel in 3.5 hours including a 15 minute coffee stop (even quicker on the way back). Our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable and he gave us a lot of very useful and interesting information in perfect English before we entered the temples. Both guide and driver were friendly and courteous. Overall an excellent company and tour, hence highly recommended

A good way to travel from Aswan to Luxor and seeing a few sites along the way. Our driver was pleasant and our two guides were very informative but did tended to speak very quickly. So much information and names to remember and it adds so much more to the trip understanding what we were actually looking at rather than just seeing cravings on the wall.

As others pointed out, the tour includes only the driver and the guide is waiting for you on site and gives you 15 min explanation. You have 2 hr to explore Abu Simbel which is beautiful and magnificent. As long as you are aware of this, and accept it, it is a good tour. Lunch included is a traditional Egyptian food which was surprisingly good. The driver did not speak English well, but was very nice and accommodating

Definitely recommend this tour. We opted for the 3 day cruise as we had an already packed schedule and this one worked into our timeline perfectly. Enjy organized everything exactly as stated in the itinerary and was very responsive throughout the entire cruise making sure everything was going okay and giving us our schedules for the following day. The boat itself was wonderful with extremely friendly staff and great food!! can’t recommend the food enough. we knew ahead of time that our day in luxor was going to be a long one as you are scheduled to visit 4 temples in one day (worth it) and it definitely was long but our guide for the day, Maria, was so lovely and friendly it made it all better. She regaled us with stories of the pharaohs and even had us acting out as certain pharaohs and their family relations and really made it memorable. we added the hot air balloon experience and highly recommend. the views over luxor are insane, you fly right over so many temples! i was scared of the balloon before riding but it was not bad at all! We had an excellent pilot and smooth landing. Thanks to Enjy again for being there for our every question and organizing the most perfect days sailing the nile. Our tour group became one big family during the trip where we regularly hung out with each other on the boat and took many group photos for great memories

Overall a very good trip. We were lucky enough to have our own personal guide with driver (unfortunately can’t remember her name). I guess if others have booked the same tour it may not be a one-on-one trip. We visited the Aswan Dam and Philae Temple (via motor boat) and Unfinshed Obelisk. Great history and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Allowed us to ask lots of questions and not just about the trip, but can also ask general questions about Egypt and the local area. Only negative was that the trip included a stop off at a Spice store and a Perfume store where both felt like a hard sell and we felt a little pressured into purchases where the prices weren’t really cheap.

Reading the comments the day before the tour I almost canceled, but didn't because it was too late for the refund. Thank god, this was great tour and nothing was so wrong as other said. My hotel was on the island and I choosed via whatsapp to come to starting point at 4am for free. Public ferry works all night and it cost 100egp. It took some time to pick up other people, and we got to Abu Simbel at 9:15, bought tickets, entered, got to the temples and there our guide Ahmed talked some 20min. After that we got 1:15 to enter temples and do whatever. It's enough, you can take it slowly. Long day, but 100% worth it. Don't forget you are going through the desert most of the time, so you have amazing views as well. I admit, they could be more organized and not send you the messages about pick up at 11pm night before, that was the only problem I had.

Our ship “Amwaj Livingstone” was one of the best cruise ships on the Nile, full window view from the room. Great service and plenty of delicious meals. Well covered Excursions, generally starting very early in the morning, but absolutely worth it. A good guide makes a lot of difference! The extra trip to Abu Simbel started at 04:00 am and included total of 7 hours car ride. The temple was amazing, but the trip can be tiring. The agent “Egypt Unlimited” was very professionally organized and very helpful. We’d recommend them to anyone coming to Egypt.

It was an amazing trip with my family to celebrate our wedding anniversary. At first, we weren’t completely sure about the 5-star cruise, so there was a bit of confusion. However, Let’s Discover Egypt Tour and Viator were very helpful in sorting everything out. It turned out to be a wonderful opportunity to meet travelers from different countries and to learn about Egypt’s rich history through its temples and ancient tombs. The balloon tour was definitely a highlight, an unforgettable experience! I highly recommend this trip.
