What are people saying about Amman

Omar was so kind!
Omar was so friendly and knowledgeable as our driver and drop-offs at all the amazing sites we visited. He was even generous enough to take us out of our way to Pink Lake for a small price. He knew English extremely well, and was so friendly and personable! So great to meet you, and my two girls and I felt safe in your hands!

A bucket list experience.
Jordanian hospitality is fantastic. My hosts were attentive and knowledgeable. Khalid was an excellent driver and an interesting conversationalist. Fatima was a tremendous guide. She was patient to answer my questions, and she has extensive knowledge of Petra and its history.

Worth every penny!
Petra is a gem and worth every penny. We almost cancelled the excursion with everything going on but decided to go since we flew all of this way. Our guide promptly picked us up at 7am. The drive takes about 2.5-3 hours. He stopped half way there for a toilet break and snacks. When you arrive at Petra there is a visitor center. We chose to walk which took approximately 30 minutes downhill. It was a little chilly walking through the caves but very scenic. Then it opens to Petra like the movies. Not many people were there when we got there at 10am. You can takes pictures with the camels or chose to take a hike up to look down on it for a fee ($10-$15 JD). We stayed for about 2 hours which was plenty and paid $30 JD to take a ride in a golf cart back to the visitor center. Highly recommend this tour.

Brilliant whistlestop tour of Jordan - can’t recommend enough!
Absolutely brilliant experience exploring Jordan in a very short time.
Day 1: picked up from hotel in Amman and straight to Petra and were a mixed group from uk, us, russia, hungary and Italy.
It was about 2.5 /3 hours to Petra and We had 5 hours in Petra. I read some reviews saying this wasn’t sufficient time but we all found it enough and managed to see most of the sites and the monastery as well. You can make it if you get straight there and took about 1hr 30 to the furthest point at the monastery but it’s a fair walk and lots of stairs to get there.
Then straight onto wadi rum which was about 2 hours from sunset. This was absolutely incredible and the views and the calm tranquility was one of the highlights.
I stayed in a deluxe tent which was only about £30 more and well worth the price - as it had heating and ac as well as a private bathroom - it was like a hotel room rather than the smaller tents which don’t have toilets or heating and are more basic (depends on what you want)
The jeep tour was fantastic - remember both your thermals and sun cream as the sun is quite intense but also it’s pretty cold in the am (was there in Feb)
Next onto the Dead Sea which was about 4 hours so fairly long but we had toilet breaks and didn’t feel too bad.
2.5 hours at the Dead Sea for floating and mud soaking and then an hour ish back to Amman.
The tour guide jafar was fantastic - super knowledgable and got us around super efficiently. So grateful to his expertise!
Amazing trip and leaving feeling culturally fulfilled but also rested and recharged despite a full schedule!

Safe, professional and reliable
As a solo female travling in Jordan, I wanted a safe, reliable "easy" ride to my hotel from the airport after a long day of flying from the USA. The driver contacted me via Whatsapp and was ready and waiting when I arrived. He was very professional and spoke english - very friendly and the company also helped me with a ride to Petra later in my trip. I would highly recommend.

Such a fun and easy way...
Such a fun and easy way to visit Amman. We were picked up on time for our hotel and taken to see the mosque, which we chose to pay for to enter. It was super interesting to see that a Christian church stood across from the mosque, representing the Jordanian culture embracing differences. The mosque was beautiful and historic. Then, we did outside views of the citadel and the roman stadium, which were beautiful at night with the sun setting and the lovely hills. We couldn't visit the rainbow stairs. It was Christmas, a holiday that everyone takes and we were told that streets were closed, though we did drive through the old town which I would have loved to spend a bit more time in. The wine tasting was worth the extras!! We bought 4 bottles of wine. And, we loved the restaurant. The food was the highlight. There was so much food and we wanted to eat more but couldn't! It was a real authentic restaurant and not just a tourist place. Highly recommend!!!

Great tour with Omar!
At the beginning of the trip, our driver offered to take us to the Baptismal Site of Jesus Christ and Mount Nebo for 30 JOD extra for the two of us. We agreed to this as we’d not had an opportunity to visit these sites beforehand. The Baptismal Site of Jesus Christ cost 12 JOD per person for entry, and this included a group tour guide, and it lasted for around 2 hours. We later went to the Crown Plaza to go into the dead sea and then have a buffet lunch.
Later on, we went to Mount Nepo, which costed 3 JOD per person, but this is cash only (card not accepted).
The whole day took around 8-9 hours from Amman and back, including these two additional site stops.
Our driver, Omar, was great and gave us waters throughout the journeys. He also showed us the facilities at the dead sea resort, and stopped at a few points to take photos for us.
This day trip was definitely worth it. The dead sea was a lot warmer than expected, and the climate is a lot warmer than in Amman. We did this trip in late December, and it was definitely warm enough to go into the sea. We were taken to the Holiday Inn resort at first, but due to an event, the beach was closed, so we were taken to another hotel with the same rating, which was also nice, called the Crown Plaza resort. The buffet food was very good, and the hotel surroundings were also nice.

This tour was really...
This tour was really something special. Mohammed, my driver/guide went above and beyond to make the trip memorable, from things as small as finding the best falafel, to tweaking the plan to add in hot springs when it was too cold for a Dead Sea float (though we still visited the Dead Sea). I cannot stress how cool this tour was. I loved seeing the mosaics of madaba, mount nebo and its views, little Petra, actual Petra (the crown jewel of the tour), the amazing rock formations and different colored sand in wadi rum (as well as seeing the stars at night), and the glass boat tour of Aqaba, before the hot springs an Dead Sea. You won’t regret going on this tour!

Take this tour! You will be glad you did!!
This was a great experience/ introduction to Jordan food. Our guide Mohammed Al-Quadi picked us up right on time. We visited all the sites in the itinerary and had a special guide at the Citadel. We Danielle so much food, we were very full! But it was a really good mix of walking and food tasting. Highly recommend this tour.

Jerash, Anjlun Castle, and Umm Qayas
We had an excellent experience with our private driver, Faisal Abu Rashed. He was incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, and made our entire trip feel smooth and safe. Faisal went above and beyond—he helped us purchase genuine Jordanian stones (Aventurine) at a very fair price, brought us fresh pomegranate juice, and introduced us to fantastic local eateries we would have never found on our own.
He also made us aware of local scammers/ticket procedures and shared insightful information about every tourist site we visited. His professionalism and warm personality truly enhanced our time in Jordan.
Highly recommend Faisal to anyone looking for a trustworthy and exceptional driver!

Highly recommended guided tour!
Had a great experience with Orwa. He took us through the beautiful streets and bazaars. He let us try some local delicacies and also suggested good eateries to try out. He explained the history of the place well and it was great to see the place from a local point of view. Super friendly with an amazing spirit !
