I booked this round-trip transfer from Amman to Petra, and it ended up being the perfect way to visit Petra without any stress. This experience is focused on transportation, not guiding once you arrive, and they do that part extremely well. If you want a comfortable, reliable, and simple way to get to and from Petra in one day, this is a great choice.
Communication before pickup was very smooth. Everything was done through WhatsApp, which made the process easy. The driver reached out ahead of time, confirmed my pickup location, and stayed in touch the morning of the trip. He arrived right on time. I did not have luggage with me, but he definitely would have helped if I had. From the beginning, the whole process felt organized and dependable.
The car itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It was a modern sedan with good air conditioning, and the drive felt safe the entire way. The road to Petra is long, but the ride was smooth and relaxed. The driver was friendly and shared interesting information along the route, which made the drive even more enjoyable. He clearly knows the road and the timing well.
One thing I appreciated was the small, well-timed stops along the desert highway. We made a very quick 3-minute stop for coffee, and then a longer 25-minute break where you can get food, use the bathroom, and look at a bit of local shopping. On the way back, we had another similar 25-minute stop. These breaks are flexible, so if you are not hungry or do not want to shop, you can keep them short. For me, they were a nice chance to stretch, grab a bite, and see a little roadside culture. The desert scenery is beautiful, and those brief stops made the drive feel easier and more enjoyable.
When we reached Petra, the driver explained exactly where to go and made sure I felt confident navigating the Visitor Center. He showed me where to buy the entry ticket, told me who to ask for if I wanted a licensed guide, and gave helpful tips on what to avoid. Petra can be overwhelming at first, so having clear instructions made a big difference. From there, you have several hours to explore Petra on your own… which is exactly what I wanted.
After finishing my time inside Petra, the driver was waiting at the exact spot we agreed on. He kept in communication the entire time, so I never had to worry about finding him or coordinating the return. The drive back to Amman was just as smooth as the drive there… relaxed, safe, and comfortable, with that one final break for food, bathroom, or shopping.
Overall, this was an excellent experience and one I would absolutely recommend. If you are visiting Jordan and want a simple and reliable way to get to Petra, this is an ideal option. The driver was kind, helpful, and professional. The car was comfortable and clean. Communication was easy. The value for the price is truly great.
If you want to visit Petra without dealing with transportation stress… book this. I would definitely do it again.

Amazing service provided by Mohammed , the best driver ever, such a fun trip and plenty of information and tips for spending the best time in Petra...he have gone extra mile and we saw Wadi Rum also, small difference paid but deffo something to see and feel...highly recommended and please call him Mister Mohammed Srewa he will love it..definitely highly recommended. Omar was our driver from Amman to Petra. He was very polite, professional, and interesting. He is always on time and attentive to needs. For example, he noticed our waters were warm and he bought us new ice cold ones. Omar also has an interesting life and he shares his life experiences. We would definitely travel with Omar again.

Had a great experience going to Petra. We chose a driver without a guide and Haj Mohammed Srewa was our driver. Very safe driver. Picked us up early, showed us some great sights along the way to Petra.

This is our first time in Jordan, and Petra was in our bucket list. Our journey to Petra was amazing thanks to our experienced, and professional driver Omar; He was very courteous, attentive and we enjoyed his company. He went out of his way to take us to special places, and he even took pictures for us. He made our trip an unforgettable experience.

Only issue our driver was always on the phone or texting and going about 30-40mph so it took much longer in getting to Petra.

This was an excellent trip with Ahmad. I chose to do the trip without a guide and I felt like that was sufficient. It is very easy to figure out where to go if you follow the map. Ahmad was happy to add on to the trip in any way I liked. Truly private and fully customizable.
