This was a perfect day trip for those who don’t have more time! I booked the group tour as a woman solo traveler and felt comfortable and safe the entire time. Anees was a fantastic, friendly driver and was very knowledgeable about the wider region. I wish I had more time to explore at Petra, but the three hours provided enough to see the main sites.

This was an incredible experience and one of the highlights of my time in Jordan. Petra was absolutely breathtaking, and having a guide walk us through the history and hidden details made it even more special.
Wadi Rum was just as unforgettable - stunning desert views, a fun jeep ride, and that peaceful, cinematic landscape you can’t find anywhere else. The entire day was smooth, well‑organized, and filled with genuine hospitality.

Our day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum with Saada from Jordan Landmark Tours was absolutely fabulous from start to finish!!! He made my two daughters and I from the USA feel so comfortable and safe. We rode in a very nice, air conditioned car, and he had free water bottles to give us throughout the day. Plus he would stop whenever we 3 girls needed a restroom break. We have had many tours in other countries throughout the World, and Saada was so personable and his English is so very good! If we ever came back to Amman we would definitely have him as our driver again as he was one of the best drivers safety wise we have ever had! He is so knowledgeable in regard to Jordan’s history and everyday living questions, and we had many questions, and all he answered honestly and so we would comprehend. We cannot thank you enough Saada for the wonderful day!

Petra is a gem and worth every penny. We almost cancelled the excursion with everything going on but decided to go since we flew all of this way. Our guide promptly picked us up at 7am. The drive takes about 2.5-3 hours. He stopped half way there for a toilet break and snacks. When you arrive at Petra there is a visitor center. We chose to walk which took approximately 30 minutes downhill. It was a little chilly walking through the caves but very scenic. Then it opens to Petra like the movies. Not many people were there when we got there at 10am. You can takes pictures with the camels or chose to take a hike up to look down on it for a fee ($10-$15 JD). We stayed for about 2 hours which was plenty and paid $30 JD to take a ride in a golf cart back to the visitor center. Highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful experience to Petra and Wadi rum
A special shout-out and thanks to our driver today. His name is Mahmoud ALKHAWAJA.
He has been an awesome driver and his personality is fantastic and so friendly.
I got lost at Petra and exited from a different exit. Although pressured for time to pick the others, he went out of his way, to pick me at my "wrong" entrance location. For this, being a lost tourist unfamiliar with the local location, this has been so helpful, and he didn't leave me stranded.
Please kindly recognise his top level service and driving level and if possible, please give him some financial incentives from the company to reward his good and kind efforts.

What an unforgettable experience! This tour to Petra and Wadi Rum from Amman was absolutely incredible. My guide Yunis was amazing. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. It felt like a private tour since there were only two of us (both of us being solo travelers), which made the whole experience even more personal. The other person on the tour quickly became a friend, and we both had such a great time.
We started the day early with a smooth drive to Petra. When we arrived, it felt like stepping into a dream! The site was less crowded than I expected, and the anticipation leading up to the first view of the Treasury was magical. Petra truly lives up to the hype and more. I’ll never forget that feeling of awe.
Next, we headed to Wadi Rum. Wow! This place is like being on another planet. The vast desert landscapes are just breathtaking. We even had the chance to meet and share tea with some Bedouins, which was a unique and memorable experience. The entire desert was picture-perfect and felt surreal.
After all the sightseeing, we ended the day with a delicious buffet dinner. The entire tour was so well-organized, and our guide made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the day. I also really appreciated how he patiently waited while we explored the sites.
Big props to him for driving all the way from Amman to Petra and Wadi Rum. It’s a long drive, and he made it seem effortless. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable day. If you're planning a trip to Jordan, this tour is a must, and I particularly recommend Yunis as your guide! Thank you for making this such a special experience!

An absolute outstanding day: the famous ruins and tombs of Petra with the added bonus of a slot canyon and amazing sandstone rocks scattered throughout a sandy desert. Our driver Mahmoud Alkhawaja took very good care of us, making sure we would not fall into one of the many tourist traps at Petra (and yes people tried). On the way back from Wadi Rum he suggested to try the buffet at Midway Castle which turned out to be excellent.
We had 3 hours in total in Petra. Since I am a quick walker this was enough time to get up to the Great Temple, th byzantine church, and the Royal Tombs. If you prefer a more relaxed style, then you could still try to get up to the theatre, or the tombs.
Clearly the jeep ride can be shaky, still we made 4 photo stops, so you will find the opportunity to take a couple of good shots.

I had an amazing experience on this tour. Our driver, Saadeh was truly exceptional, very knowledgeable, kind, and patient throughout the entire long day. He drove us safely from Amman to Petra, then to Wadi Rum and back to Amman, and made sure we were comfortable at every step.
In Petra he explained everything clearly and gave us helpful tips to make the most of our time. Afterwards, the Wadi Rum desert safari was absolutely spectacular.
Saadeh really went above and beyond, always checking on us, answering every question, and guiding us with genuine care.
Highly recommended to anyone visiting Jordan. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Even though a long day was a great experience. Ultimately anyone needs more than four hours at each place. But this gave us a taste and we want to come back. Driver was professional and we enjoyed this company.

Please be aware that this company willl attempt to scam you. We paid for an excursion from Amman to Petra and wadi rum as advertised in the title, description, internry AND timings of the tour.
Whilst driving towards Petra we were told that there was small print on the booking which stated the tour was for Petra only.
I explained that the title states Petra and wadi rum, the itinerary stared wadi rum, the tour duration was 12-14 hours which would not be the case for Petra only.
We were told 1 hour from Petra that we could get a refund if we decided to go back home after 2 hours, see nothing, and book another tour.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour and treatment of guests in Jordan. Very disappointed and I’d really avoid this company and go with someone else as for the same price there’s no small print and wadi rum is included. I have checked.

Overall it was a good trip but even the driver agreed that including Wadi Rum is pushing it too far. You spend most of the day in the minivan. It is about 7 or more hours driving. Not much to see in Wadi Rum. Petra is amazing and I’d advise you to do a Petra only tour to allow you more time there as there’s a lot to see and take in.

Great experience overall. I was picked up right on time and dropped off at the same location, which made the day very smooth. The driver was efficient with time and helpful whenever needed. The schedule was well planned—there was plenty of time to see both Petra and Wadi Rum in a single day without feeling rushed. Highly recommended for a well-organized day trip.

An absolute must do trip and a perfect taster for Petra and Wadi Rum. Majd was a wonderful guide, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and a proud Jordanian who shared so much about the history of this beautiful country. Petra and Wadi Rum really need days to explore therefore if you can't manage a longer trip this day trip is perfect. Would highly recommend!

My driver, Safwat, contacted me the day before and arrived a little early to collect me from my hotel, which I liked. He was most helpful in making sure my experience was the best it could be making several recommendations and suggestions along the way.
Petra was everything I had hoped it would be - magical, mind blowing and magnificent. Time only allowed for a few highlights (remembering it’s a 4hr drive back to Amman), but that was perfectly fine.
If you can hold out to have lunch at the Wadi Rum visitor centre then do so - the food was incredible and only 12JD for the most delicious buffet. My personal recommendation would be the fish; the chefs own recipe!
Yaed was my driver for Wadi Rum. What a legend he was. A young Bedouin man full of excitement and pride as we hooned around the many spectacular sights on the back of his Toyota Hilux. I loved every minute of it.
This tour was beyond what I had expected and was the best private tour of all my travels this season.
It truly deserves a 20/10 rating!

Mansour David is a very friendly and knowledgeable driver. We had excellent communication and arrive at all locations on time and with minimal hassle. Petra and Wadi Rum are both amazing, although it's a long, long day if you choose to do both in one day. The jeep ride at Wadi Rum was also good, and was included in the price.
Only downside, the cost was pretty high but we got everything we booked, so no complaints.

Alaa Alyassen is absolutely amazing! Not only is he an excellent and very safe driver, but he is also a friendly, attentive, and professional tour guide. During our tour we faced heavy rain and fog, and Alaa handled everything with total confidence and care, making us feel safe at all times. He was incredibly helpful and always willing to go the extra mile.
