3 significant stops of historical and natural importance

It was a great tour with a safe ride. Our driver Daniel was very willing to answer our questions and get us set up with a guide for each stop (Elmina castle, cape coast castle and Kakum national park). He picked up the other guests in Accra (I was staying local to Elmina) so I know they had a long day making it back too but they were in safe hands with a clean car. We did not have supervision in Kakum and had a little difficulty finding the right trails to climb to the canopy walk but were able to put our heads together (the four guests) to figure it out and it was very bonding. While Daniel drive and coordinated, I think we expected a little more interaction. But the tour guides at each location were hospitable and kind and shared with us the history of the location and overall significant. The only thing lacking was a conversation with an ecologist or jungle expert about all the things we were seeing.

I had an excellent experience with my tour guide, Emmanuel! Even though I was traveling solo, another traveler joined the tour, and it made for a great small group experience. Emmanuel was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information throughout the tour. He was attentive to our needs, regularly checked to make sure we understood what he was explaining, and encouraged us to ask questions along the way. His warm personality, enthusiasm, and professionalism made the experience both informative and enjoyable. I highly recommend Emmanuel to anyone looking for a fun, engaging, and memorable tour. Great day, very interesting and beautiful waterfalls

We had a lovely day with Emmanuel K, he was very helpful and accommodating, and had lots of knowledge that he was keen to share with us all. The other people in our group were lovely too. The day was well planned and waterfalls, cocoa farm and Arburi Gardens were all excellent, our guide on the Arburi Gardens (Richard) was excellent, very knowledgeable and passionate about all the plants and the history of the gardens. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to see a bit more of Ghana outside of Accra, beautiful countryside.

Best part of trip! Samuel made it memorable and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This trip was one my partner and I were drawn too as our first time in Accra and Africa as a whole - from the moment Samuel (Sammie) picked us up he treated us like family. From teaching us Twi sayings on the drive (and correcting our terrible accents) all the way to giving us space to sleep after a long night. He gave us options, space and ultimately an eye opening experience seeing the castles. 5 stars all around we’ll be back with our family soon!
