Karlo provided me with a great tour and was willing to do a 3-hour tour, but I only had 2.5 hours before I had to fly out. He was also flexible to start earlier to accommodate my schedule. What also made the tour interesting was that he had historical photos to show me how the city looked like before vs now! He also took me the market where I sample honey and various oil. Will return to do a full food tour with him!

Karlo was great. The communication around the tour was excellent and it started on time. I really enjoyed the tour. Karlo provided much detail and history of Zagreb and his personal experiences. He was friendly and accomodating of our needs. It allowed me to gain a good feel not only for Zagreb but also Croatia. The tour is extremely good value especially for someone short on time.

Karlo Kapusta is very knowledgeable, personable, attentive, & friendly.
I particularly respect that he gave 3+ hours of time just to me, when other tourists for the tour canceled. He made a side trip in the market for some cheese-tasting, tho not on the itinerary. After wards, he sent me numerous suggestions for dining, wines to try, places for drinks, coffee, beer & music clubs.
Karlo also leads food & wine tasting tours. Really great & very well-priced!

Karlo is an amazing professional tour guy! Very knowledgeable for Croatia history. Always willing to help, going the extra mile, polite and with great sense of humour.
He provides tours around Croatia. The one I had was for Zagreb and I really enjoyed the 3 hours that passed without realising. The end of the tour had a nice surprise!
Walking on your own is one way of sightseeing, but with tour you learn so much behind each sight you see.
Definitely recommend Karlo and the tour.

Hands down, one of the best tours I’ve ever had. I’m an avid traveler and sometimes that means being solo. Karlo made my experience absolutely perfect. I felt as if I was walking the streets of Zagreb with a friend. Chatting about its history while enjoying the sights. As a traveler, I enjoy meeting local people that can genuinely educate me and their audience about the Country’s history. Karlo did not disappoint. He truly has a passion for what he does and it translates into his work. 10/10 I would recommend booking a tour with him. You will not be disappointed!

This was the best city tour we have ever had. Karlo gave my wife and I a personal tour of Zagreb. It was a great mix of information and personal anecdotes. By the end of the tour (fantastic value) we felt like we had been walking with a friend.

What made this trip different from all the others was through Karlo’s use of a tablet to show what the places we were standing in front of looked like in the past. It also was inventive in bringing history alive.

Karlo went above and beyond to ensure I had a great morning. As it was All Saints’ Day, the market was not open, but I saw all the sights I wanted to see. Karlo brought tea and a bottle of water with him for me to make my morning as comfortable as possible for me. He even reserved me a table for lunch after the tour before I arrived. Absolutely incredible. Karlo truly goes above and beyond for you on his tours. His knowledge on Croatia and Zagreb is encyclopedic, and Karlo is extremely kind and generous with his time, going out of his way to make the experience personal for yourself. Karlo's passion for what he does clearly shines through and he gave me some excellent tips and recommendations for enjoying my time in Zagreb. I was the only person on the walking tour and yet Karlo still ran the tour, not only that but he went well over the amount of time to ensure we had packed absolutely everything in! Karlo was such a friendly Guide and made the Tour absolutely worth it! He not just fit the tour to my personal interests (e.g. showing me vegetarian restaurants and explained some vegetarian dishes) but also expanded the tour to more than 4 hours (3 hours were originally planned)! Really enjoyed my time and got to know the most important aspects of the city. Definitely coming back!!
