Excellent way to see York and hear of many of the stories of Christmas that we had never heard before. The guide was very knowledgeable and overall, very enjoyable.

Informative and very Christmassy! Sarah was easy to understand and clear. Exactly the right length of time. Romans, Vikings and Victorian's, so much was covered- who knew that Christmas traditions came from so many different sources!

This was a great tour. Our lovely guide, Sarah, told us about all kinds of Christmas traditions that originated from many cultures over many centuries, including the Pagans, the Romans, the Vikings, right up to the Victorians and beyond. 😍 It was a wonderful mixture of christmas traditions that are so familiar to us today.

Don't miss this heart-warming and fascinating Christmas tour. Sarah was fantastic with her mix of history, Christmas tales, and stories behinds the holiday traditions that brought the season to life. It made me see York in a wonderful way and better understand and appreciate the Christmas traditions I hold dear in my family. We took the tour our first night in York and it set the stage for our next three days of an unforgettable vacation.
