Andy made an amazing tour! It was just on point, only the most interesting information. At the end of tour, a huge highlight of the tour is meeting his family at the house and eating delicious home-cooked meals that were accommodating everyone’s food preferences. Highly recommend!

Terracotta warriors are really a wonder of the world and are a must see in China if you are interested in China’s extraordinary history. Out fabulous guide Luna brought this life with her knowledge of the warriors. She even taught us some Chinese characters on the drive back. We got picked up and dropped off rights outside our hotel and lunch in the local village was delicious. I couldn’t recommend Luna and this tour highly enough.

This was a fabulous tour and just perfect for a trip to the Warriors. Irene was fabulous, very knowledgeable and her English was perfect. Irene gave us a history of Xi’an and the dynasties and lots of details about how the warriors were found, and the restoration work. We had plenty of time in each place and Irene was happy to answer our questions, lunch with the family was also really good. So many wonderful dishes and great to chat with the other travellers. Bus was comfortable, driver was excellent too. Would highly recommend.

Picks you up at tge hotel. Drives to site and provides good commentary. The Terracotta warriors is a must to see. Goes to parents restaurant for lunch. The lunch as many dfferent dishes.

Such a well organised tour from start to finish. Our guide Andy was amazing - his knowledge and enthusiasm made the whole experience. That’s what a person who truly loves their job looks like. But the best part? Lunch at his parents’ house. The home-cooked local food was delicious! And meeting such a warm and friendly family was the cherry on top. We loved it all. Thank you!

This was honestly the best part of our trip! Andy is so friendly and an amazing tour guide. He helped us locate the least busy parts to enjoy the terracotta warriors on an extremely busy day. He even gave me and my friend miniature terracotta warrior souvenirs for free to thank us for traveling far from our hotel to get to the meeting spot. The best part was the food that was cooked by his wife and parents. This was some of the best food we’ve ever eaten and it was so nice to enjoy a home cooked meal not from a restaurant. Would highly recommend this to anyone who has the chance!!

This tour was amazing, Andy was a great guide with so much knowledge about the Terracotta Warriors. He gave us enough time to enjoy and take it all in. The tour needed with a lovely lunch at his parents home which was a special experience to have a home cooked Chinese succulent meal. Highly recommend!

This was a great experience. Andy is very engaging and knowledgeable. The highlight was the family lunch which was actually at Andy's parents' house with his wife and daughter. We learnt a lot about history and also about life in China. Definitely recommended.

Andy picked us up at our hotel shortly before 8:30, which was very convenient than us trying to find a meeting point in the city. His small bus provided a comfortable one hour ride to the site.
Upon arrival we were given the audio ear piece, which was quite clear compared to the ones we used in other tours. He spoke good English and shared a lot of useful info as he led us around the three Pits to different spots where we were able to take a lot of great closeup photos.
After the tour around 12:30 he took us to his parents clean and neat house about 15 minutes away for great lunch with a variety of fresh vegetables as well as pork and chicken dishes served with jasmine tea, family style.
After walking around so much, we appreciated being dropped off at our hotel around 2:30. Value of this tour was excellent with a door to door ride, a 3-hour tour, and great lunch! It was a great day where we got to check off one of the things in our bucket list. We highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour with Christina. Much better doing this tour than going it alone. So much more insightful this way and the family lunch was great. Christina also helped us book the Tang dynasty show and made great suggestions for other things to see/visit.

Andy was a great guide, communication was via WhatsApp and it was easy. We got picked up from our hotel as well as the other tourists. We got to the site, we didn't have to queue at all. Inside the museum was a bit crowded, but Andy showed us a good spot to take pictures and explained us the history of the Terracotta warriors. He is very knowledgeable and it was very interesting tour. After visiting the museum, Andy took us to his parent's house for lunch, which was very delicious, it was a lot of food as well. His dad is a very good cook. I would highly recommend this tour with Andy. He also helped us booking other tickets, very much appreciated.

Andy our guide was a very experienced guide. He knows how to handle the crowd and will guide you through the terracotta warriors the best possible ways. The lunch at his parents place was delicious and very authentic. Highly recommend this tour.

We had to ask and wait until 10PM the night prior to the trip to get the pickup time from the guide. The tour was pretty boring and not well organised. The place is very busy and instead to allocate a time for each group to see a place, everything feels rushed and people around pushing you to get one more pointless selfie. The terracotta army is not impressive at all and can be avoided. A waste of time.

We did not contact you at an unreasonably late hour. Your trip fell during the busiest travel season, and we did our best to inform you and arrange your itinerary properly.
The heavy crowds at the scenic spot are beyond our control, as it receives over 70,000 visitors daily. We arranged the tour as reasonably as possible to ensure it went smoothly.
Your view that the Terracotta Army is unimpressive and not worth visiting is purely personal, which we respect. Its value and significance are globally recognized. Different people have different opinions, and we hope you can focus on what you find meaningful.
Andy was very knowledgeable, organised and accommodating. We were travelling with an 11 month old baby and nervous about space and crowds. Whilst the museum itself is not terribly well set up for strollers (carrier is generally preferable during busy tines especially) Andy helped us navigate this very smoothly.

Great day with Andy at the Terracotta Warriors museum. Andy was very knowledgeable and welcoming to everyone and made accommodations so all felt looked after and comfortable. It was great to hear the history and stories behind the Terracotta Warriors and meeting one of the original farmers who discovered them in the 60s. After the museum, we were invited to lunch at Andy’s parent’s house where they welcomed us to a wonderful home cooked meal. What a treat. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this small group tour of The Terracotta Soiders. Min was a great guide. Her English was really good, and she was a wealth of knowledge about relevant history. The highlight was a delicious lunch in a local family's home. The husband and wife prepared about 8 local dishes.

Absolutely unforgettable! My visit to the Terracotta Army was, as expected, a breathtaking encounter with history. Nothing prepares you for the scale and solemnity of standing before the silent ranks of warriors, each face uniquely etched with purpose over two millennia ago. The Terracotta Army is awe-inspiring, but the true highlight was a lunch that felt like a homecoming. At a family house, we were welcomed like old friends and served the most delicious, heartfelt meal—simple, warm, and full of soul. It was the perfect, comforting end to a day of wonder. Don't miss this tour!

The tour started on time, pace was good and the lunch at the village home was a unique experience
Andy, our guide and owner of the business, contacted me the day before through WhatsApp to confirm pickup time and place and was there when he said he'd be.
The day itself was brilliant. Andy explained the history of the discovery of the warriors and also about the time they were built. He also explained about the history of Xi'an, and also how things had changed dramatically in his lifetime.
As for the actual visit to the Warriors, it was excellent and Andy was a great guide.
But the icing on the cake for this trip was lunch with a local family. But not just any family. It was with his parents in their little village. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was delicious and plentiful.
It was a very memorable day and I'd highly recommend this trip to anyone.
Andy the tour guide provided a personal service, pick up and drop off from/to the hotel. The history and details were explained clearly and after the tour the lunch at the family's place was quite nice.
Andy was an awesome guide who speaks very good english and explains a lot of things about the terracotta army! You get to eat at his families house which is the most authentic experience you can probably get regarding local food! I can absolutely recommend this tour :)
