Wonderful full day! Our guide, William, was knowledgeable, communicative, and sensitive to our needs. At the end of the day we had an excellent understanding of the unification of China, the Qin Dynasty, the reason for the terracotta warriors, etc., and the importance of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and a calligraphy lesson (we had already visited the city wall), so William arranged a calligraphy lesson instead. Highly recommend! Also, the interaction with Viatour was easy and the driver was also excellent.

This was hands down the BEST tour in Xi’an! Rosa was absolutely incredible — her English is perfect, she’s a fantastic storyteller, and her knowledge of the city and its history is truly impressive. She gave us just the right amount of information to bring the sights to life without ever feeling overwhelming.
We visited the Terracotta Army and explored the beautiful city of Xi’an, and Rosa made every stop memorable. She even took us to the best local noodle place for lunch — it was such a treat! Mr. Feng, the driver, was professional, safe, and made the day seamless.
We are so grateful to Rosa and Mr. Feng for showing us this amazing city. This tour exceeded all our expectations — we couldn’t recommend it more!

Tour was excellent. Grace was our tour guide. Very knowledgeable and fun. She's especially skilled at maneuvering around pushy crowds to get you a good view. Make sure to include lunch in your tour. The food was amazing.

It was a super cool adventure! My guide Elith was so friendly and communicative, I had the best time learning from her as much as I could and also getting invaluable thoughts on Xi'an local specs. The lunch she treated me was divine (and neither she nor I ran from the challenge of eating it like a local, one bite on the garlic, one bite on the noodles 🤭😋). It's an amazing tour with so much to take from the fascinating story of China's old capital. It just felt the best. Thank you very much for this experience, I am elated!!!!

Wow! Really looked after by our guide Rosa and the driver. They were both fabulous, she was really informative and friendly. We had great fun. Vehicle was super luxury and the places they took us to was unreal. She even arranged for us to go and see the Silk Road show after. 5 stars all the way for the trip. And 6 stars for Rosa !!!

Richard was an amazing tour guide, so knowledgeable about the history of X’ian and the tour sites (The Pagoda, Ciry Wall and Terracotta Warriors) and friendly and flexible. Amazing trip to visit Xi'an, we had a fantastic time to learn about so much history, try local food and I managed to get some good photos. Great time to visit in Nov as well, while it was cold and wet, but it meant we had less crowd and able to view the exhibits in the museum and the pit close up. Highly recommended. Thanks Richard and Catherine!

Simply put, Xi’an is an amazing city! This tour gives you a great flavor for the history and majesty of Xi’an. Our guide Julia spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable. We were visiting on a weekend during the summer so many sites were very crowded but Julia helped us navigate without issue and we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this tour and Julia.

It was a memorable tour to see the terracotta army, wild goose pagoda, and city gate. Our guide Rosa is most professional, friendly, knowledgeable. She took good care of the entire group (with an elderly member) and gave us good tips on where to find the best spots for photos. The tour company responded very promptly to all our questions too. Richard (and the driver) were always on time for every leg of our tour, with right pacing so we didn't feel rushed, yet making sure that we make it to the Xian train station on time on our way back to Beijing. Richard was very knowledegable of the history of the Xian City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Terracotta Army guarding Qin Shi Huang's (China's First Emperor) tomb. We also got to experience biking on the Xian City wall and a local favorite dish, the "Biang Biang noodles". My family (me, my wife, and our two 13 yr old twin boys) really enjoyed the trip. Richard and our driver also made sure that we got to the correct train station to catch our bullet train back to Beijing. Definitely highly recommended.

Ding met us in the hotel lobby early with the driver ready to take us to the Terra Cotta Museum. It was very crowded with so many domestic Chinese tourists, but Ding help us to get through the crowd so that we can see the warriors clearly.
We had lunch at a famous local restaurant with the local delicacies (big bowl of noodles).
We then had a good tour of the city wall and finally onto the monastery. Very good service from Ding and the driver. He even organised our private transport from the hotel to the airport for our onward journey. Many thanks for their help and excellent service.
