This was my favorite tour in Curacao

Enttire itinerary for this trip was well planned. The tour of Dinah Veeris' Botanical Garden, led by her son Shastri, was fun and had a lot of interesting information not just about the nutrition and medicinal use of plants, but how they are part of Curacao's traditions. Off-road safari leading to the Northeastern end of island was enjoyable. Jermaine (my apologies if I misspelt the name), our tour guide, took phenomenal photo(s) of all groups / solo traveler at this location. Perfect memory. We could not enter the nearby cave due to bees. Aloe Vera plantation stop is more an opportunity for folks to buy Curaloe products from their gift shop. (I did as I like their lotion and gel with 80 or 95% aloe and the price was the best you can get in Curacao.) Directeur's bay provided an opportunity to snorkel, or just walk along the cliff to enjoy the coastline and blue waters. What impressed me most was Jermaine's driving. On the way out of Directeur's Bay, there was an accident blocking the road. In Curacao, one does not move vehicles even an inch until police arrives. Jermaine managed to turn around the big vehicle in a very tight space so we could leave the area by an alternate route instead of having to wait there for next hour or however long it would have taken for the accident area to clear. Two thumbs up for this excellent tour.

Overall, the excursion was a lot of fun! Knowledgeable tour guide and great variety of stops along the way. The off roading took us to locations we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. The one part that fell short on our expectations was the snorkelling. There wasn’t enough snorkel gear for everyone (just goggles, not enough snorkels and even fewer flippers). This part of the experience was 30 minutes (maximum) out of the 4 hours. My suggestion - maybe don’t call it Safari tour and snorkel, as that makes it sound like the excursion would be very much about both. All that aside, the botanical garden, aloe vera farm and off roading was awesome! We’d recommend doing this tour, and a tour that focuses more on snorkelling.
