Overview

Make the most of your time in the wilds of Whistler, and plan an ice-fishing adventure to remember. Pick between morning and afternoon departure times, meet your guide directly at your hotel, and head to a nearby local lake. Suit up in winter gear, and watch as your guide drills into the ice and sets up a cozy shelter. Then, cast your line and try your luck hooking in rainbow trout.

Fishing was an amazing experience! It was so peaceful and Matthew was extremely accommodating and patient with my son. He always made sure safety was a priority! The experience was a blast and we can’t wait to do it again!

We got to go out on the ice the first day of the season. Matt was awesome at giving us safety information along with guidance on how to catch trout under the ice. He moved us from spot to spot to increase our chances. Every group in the tour caught at least one fish. Matt even gave the literal coat off of his back to my son when he was cold. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Whistler.

BEST FISHING ADVENTURE IN THE SNOW! My wife, husband, adult daughter and her boyfriend all went ice fishing for the first time. Matt was a great teacher who is very passionate about the environment, fish and our success. We caught numerous rainbow trout and had a great time. Highly recommend this excursion when u need a break from the slopes.

The ice was to thin for us to ice fish, so guide Matt took us to a river to fish. All the crew caught a fish, with some catching many. Guide Matt is excellent, very safety conscious and keen for the crew to catch fish. Fully recommend this.

Beautiful landscapes, experienced and fun tour guide Matt, and we managed to catch rainbow trout! Very cold but our guide set up a very warm tent for us. It was fun and a very cool experience. Learnt lots of fishing skills.

Matt was brilliant !! We both caught fish, learnt a lot about ice fishing - laughed at Matt’s stories and in general had a blast! Lost lake is beautiful and even if you don’t catch a fish the scenery and the story telling is worth it.
