Enjoy an only-in-Whistler, family-friendly experience—and recapture the magic of the 2010 Winter Olympics—during this small-group summer bobsleigh experience. You’ll have the special opportunity to tour the Whistler Sliding Centre, a former Olympics venue—then, with your trained pilot leading the way, grab your gear and speed down the track at up to 56 miles per hour (90 kilometers per hour) to feel like a real Olympic athlete.

Informative.... good to learn about the track how it was built, how it's maintained and the different events it hosts. The ride itself is fun but be prepared it can be a little uncomfortable!

A once in a lifetime experience! My husband was looking forward to this more than anyone, but we all had the BEST time. The information about the track was interesting and we enjoyed learning about the sport prior to the ride down the track. I did purchase five tickets, but then discovered at the sliding center my youngest (10) wasn't able to ride down the track. Children must be 12 yo, 85 pounds, and also meet the height requirement (I forget how tall). This wasn’t clear (or I completely missed it) in the description on the Viator site. So I’m currently asking for a refund for her ticket. We completely understood the situation the sliding center was in, but my youngest was pretty disappointed she couldn’t go down the track. She was still able to walk out and listen to all the information about the sport. When it came time for our ride, a worker drove her to the bottom where she would meet up with us. Overall, a fabulous time. We encouraged our daughters to come back one day when they are older so the youngest can experience the thrill!

Such a fun experience. Not sure if the fine print in the waiver mentions that your head uncontrollabley hits the bob sled sides but ouch... Still so pleased we got to experience the spead and thrill of it. Great guides. Cool running

Brilliant experience. We thought we was just going to go down the Bobsleigh but the walk around the track and the information from tour guide was really interesting and fun and of course the Bobsleigh was a once in a lifetime fun experience

The staff was great! I did not get our guides name but he was only one in shorts if that helps and hes a medic. Very organized and a mist do!

The tour was actually more interesting than I expected. The bobsledding was about a minute, but it was a very exhilarating minute, much like an extreme roller coaster.
Our driver was awesome, the staff was friendly and courteous. Easy enough to find, ample on-site parking.

Really fun experience & Liam was fantastic as our guide. Walking the track and hearing the stories behind the training was great. The ride wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, my husband could not do the ride at the last minute due to back issues and they quickly began the refund.

The whole experience was an amazing and we got to find out so much information about bobsleigh and the Olympic event.

It is an aggressive ride but one in a million experience.

It was so fun. It really gives you a feel for what it must be like for the athletes. Walking on the track is very cool. Aaron and Rhys were our pilots and they were great. I'm glad we did it.

Being in the bobsleigh was exciting and fast, I am glad I had the experience. Walking the track was interesting as well in understanding what goes in to piloting the bobsleigh especially around tight corners.

Team talking about olympics was rushed.. not well cordinated.. The lady who gave us a tour up there was mumblimg and the sled ride banged my head multiple times and my helmet fell off.. now i have an head injury as the guy who tested my helmet said it was fine even tho it wasnt. Waste of money!

Unfortunately, this was not brought to our attention after the ride. In reviewing multiple videos from your ride, we do not see any indication that your helmet came off, so please allow one of our team members to follow up with you directly. Our guest services and operations staff would like to further understand the circumstances of this, because the safety of our visitors, athletes and staff is always our biggest priority at the Whistler Sliding Centre, and we have not had any reports of this nature regarding our helmets before.

The ride down was thrilling and we learnt a lot about what it takes to keep a bobsleigh track operational. Had no idea the bends were so high and pretty much vertical!
