Wow such an exhilarating experience! We were a little leary of the speeds and curves, but it was great once we started the slide. The staff are fantastic helping us and making us comfortable, and our driver was awesome. Wouldn’t have missed it for anything.

Overview

This was a BLAST! Be advised, they will scare you in the briefing/intro time. It’s a good thing! I saw a couple of people get a free refund and step aside to watch their friends and family. However, it was such a good experience. You will get thrown around a little, but keep your back straight and tall and you’ll be alright! It was 41 seconds for us (dang, 11th place for the day), but what a thrill! It’s the fastest track you can publicly bobsled on worldwide! What a cool experience. Phillipe was knowledgeable and honest, and our pilot was HILARIOUS. They had lots of jokes. Cross your fingers that you’re in the first group (you’ll stay warmer in the -5C/23F weather that way). Amazing experience overall! This has to be one of your excursions if you’re visiting. We drove up from Vancouver and it was worth every second!

Definitely not for the faint of heart. But for those that want a thrill you won’t ever forget, and an experience you can only find in Whistler, this is a great activity. My wife and I are 51 and in “average” shape, and found it very tolerable and fun - no residual pain or soreness. But if you have any of the conditions they warn you about, don’t try to fake it, it is no joke.

Unfortunately, I have to rate this at the lowest possible even if this was cancelled (due to an accident that happened weeks earlier) because we NEVER got prior notice about the cancellation. To make things worse, Viator customer service said that they were also NEVER informed by the operator that this activity was cancelled. I mean talk about pass on the blame. Fine that I got refunded for this. But I just hoped Viator would say they apologize for the screw up of their operator and they will discuss the matter with them. But no....they just passed on the blame to them and say we will get refunded and expect to be happy about it. It was a waste of our planned time especially since staying at a resort like Whistler is super expensive

An amazing experience and something I doubt I’ll ever get to do again. You get a real appreciation for what these athletes do. It’s incredible flying down the track at fast speed as you hurtle through the turns.
