- Please bring swimsuit, towel, protective clothing from the sun including a hat and sunblock, light jacket or sweater during the cooler months, money or credit card for optional purchases, your camera and sense of fun!
- You must contact South Sea Cruises at least 24 hours before your activity date to confirm your reservation and arrange your coach transfers.
- Hotel pickups from Nadi/Wailoaloa start from 8.40am, Denarau -9.15am and Coral Coast 7.25am
- Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pick up time. Hotels and times are shown on our coach timetable on our website
- Passengers staying in Nadi, Wailoaloa and Denarau area depart Port Denarau at 09.30am and can depart Malamala Beach Club at 4:15 or 5.15
- Passengers staying in the Coral Coast area depart Denarau at 10.00am and depart Malamala Beach Club at 4.15 to connect with the free coach transfers.
- If you do not require pick up, please find your own way to the meeting point - South Sea Cruises Check-in Counter at the Passenger Terminal, Denarau Marina
- In the event of adverse weather and sea conditions, we retain the right to cancel all water-based activities, including snorkeling, paddleboarding and kayaking.

A lovely day at MalaMala. Transport was on schedule and well organized. The little island is beautiful, and the staff are outstanding. Food was pretty good and not too expensive. A highly recommended way to spend a day at the beach near Nadi!

This experience was great and the island is gorgeous but be prepared to spend money as the food is smaller portions. Also the last minute fees such as fuel surcharge and energy/power surcharge was not pleasant. We spent around an extra $100 in fees for a family of 7. I did not appreciate the last minute sneaky fees.

Best day of my life! Beautiful white sand with lots of different coral and shells with beautiful sea. Felt so relaxed and happy within touching down on the island. Staff were great especially on the water sports area. My son wanted to try everything from kayaking to paddle boarding to building sandcastles and they were so patience and lend out all the equipment. Such a beautiful day that will be forever in our Fiji memory.

The pickup was one hour before what the app told us. So the bus left without us and we missed our ferry.
We scrambled and got to the island without Viators help and still have had no explanation on why the app said they would pick us up at 9:30 - when the ferry was leaving at 9:30!
The island was great once we got there and figured out spending additional money on our own dime above the $99Usd pp… but it was annoying and I still am that no one has responded to my messages and I’ve gotten no explanations yet.

Beautiful island... friendly staff. So much of Fiji is beautiful it just wasn't worth the extra expense to do what we can at our resort. If you aren't at a beach already this is a great option.

Our experience started badly before we even got to the island. When we arrived at the cruise terminal in Nadi, we were told that the tour we had booked through Viator was overbooked and that we would need to seek a refund from Viator and find our own transportation back to our hotel, which would have cost us an additional 30 FJD.
After escalating the issue to a manager, they eventually made an exception and allowed us to join the tour about 30 minutes later. While we appreciated the manager's help, it was frustrating to be left standing in the corner for about half an hour while other guests watched the situation unfold.
Once we arrived at the island, we discovered that the kayaks and paddle boats were unavailable due to windy conditions. While we understand that safety comes first, it was disappointing since these activities were one of the reasons we chose to visit.
The service on the island was also odd at times. One staff member asked us why we hadn't purchased any food and even suggested it might be because the food didn't taste good, which felt awkward and unprofessional.
To make matters worse, we were given incorrect information about the shuttle schedule and nearly missed our ride back to the hotel.
Overall, the day was filled with unnecessary stress, poor communication, and disappointing service. The manager's effort to accommodate us after the overbooking issue was appreciated, but it was not enough to make up for the many problems we encountered throughout the day. I would not recommend this experience based on our visit.

The island is beautiful and there are plenty of beds for everyone. The food was AMAZING, my 19 year old said it was the best fish and chips he'd every had, and we're from the UK where we love our fish and chips. Hammocks were lovely too.
The only issue I had was that there was nowhere you could go, apart from paying for a cabana, to get some peace away from the very loud music. I wanted a moment to just sit on a bed and have the sounds of the ocean and breeze. Having music blaring at you for 8 hours solid, was a little intense. Apart from that the place was beautiful.

This tour to the island was incredible! We were fortunate enough to secure a private cabana on the island’s other side. It was a serene spot with a breathtaking view of the ocean, accompanied by a refreshing breeze. Our private butler was attentive and brought us delicious food and refreshing drinks throughout the day. Later, they even brought us a cool washcloth and some delightful cookies. It was an amazing and relaxing day that we both truly needed.

Great island experience ! Good food available and great drinks ! I got the sliders combo and it was delicious. Highly recommend great spot for snorkelling too lots of sea-life and coral reefs ! There was kayaks and SUPs too which are great ! Staff were fantastic and friendly.

Small resort then I expected. Tour operator not very good at commination, driver hard to find after event. Almost felt trapped on the island with not much to do. Food was pricey and my food was cold.

Malamala beach club was wonderful.
But booking with Viator is not recommended. Very rude staff. They mentioned to pick up and drop off while booking but left us on road and instead of helping us Staff was very rude and said it was complimentary service they don't had to do that.

I booked this experience because of the rave reviews, but fully expected it to be overwhelming touristy. I was pleasantly surprised that it did not feel at all like an amusement park. There was plenty of room to find solitude. Well worth the price. We especially enjoyed the snorkeling. We even saw some rays! Although we booked a private cabana, I didn’t feel this was necessary. There are plenty of longe chairs around the island that have coverage. Finally, we were worried about the weather since there was rain forecasted in Denarau. Although rain eventually rolled in at 17:00, Malamala Island was clear (even though we could see rain in the distance).

I hate South sea cruises company. They made me pay twice for the same tour snorkel with sharks. I asked for refund. They wanted to keep the money. Disgusting employees and greedy company culture.

An amazing experience! The island is so beautiful and looks just like the photos. They give you snorkelling gear, paddle boards and kayaks to use while there as well. The food and drinks were delicious, we enjoyed it so much we went back two days later for the half day trip.

If the weather turns, you will be inside or as under cover as you can be for quite some time, so make sure you take something to do (a book?) and take something to keep you warm as it can get quite cold when it's wet and windy. The staff were lovely despite our day been hampered by a storm! Didn't get to do any activities (we chose not to - they were still available) as the water was rough. Make sure you take ample spending money as everything is quite expensive. It was good to have done it but I wouldn't do it again. I would recommend it if you haven't done it though. It's the kind of thing you should do at least once.

Good for people who arent staying at a nice resort. If you are staying at the Sheraton or another nice resort with beach access, skip this. For the uninitiated, it is a beach with waitors, bars, a restaurant, an infinity pool, ans a sports checkout area. Everything you do here will cost you. Recommend you bring your own water so you can get by without spending extra for water. The beach and snorkeling is beautiful.

Our experience was amazing! Would highly recommend. Va was our private cabana butler and he was super attentive and made sure we never needed for anything. As soon as we arrived, she found us a speaker so we could listen to our own music, made sure we were not bothered by unwelcome or non-paying guests in the private area. She checked in on us frequently and had such a great sense of humor. She was so welcoming and really gave us the Fiji experience. If back in Nadi, I would definitely visit Malamala beach club and personally request Va!
