Return to Denarau Marina the way you came, ending your trip with drop-off back at your hotel.

Well organized however boat was over 30 minutes late departing. Pretty island and great pool but not all as pictured, many rocks and narrow beach. Waited 20 minutes for towels to go swimming and finally got our own. Rented day bed however half of it and feet exposed to sun. Food just ok.

It's was good it's half day pass so time was adequate enough for me. Staff was good prices are but on expensive side . I have food at port Denarau so wasn't hungry. Just had a drink that's it

Not a bad way to spend an afternoon. I would not do a full day though, half day was enough. 2 different pools. Not enough loungers around the adult only pool. One major complaint. The bathrooms were as hot as ovens. Big negative here. You came out of the bathroom sweating. Some kind of ventilation - fan or a/c would help. Beach itself was nice and well kept.

We went out on a really windy day—nothing could be done about the elements but we had a good time anyway. We weren’t able to paddleboard or kayak because of the winds. Snorkeling was tough too. I’d recommend reserving a beach cabana (extra cost) if you can. We were able to do this and it was awesome. Beautiful view of the ocean, out of the sun and very relaxing. We only did half a day but a full day would be fun too. I don’t think I’d do it without reserving the cabana, as the pools are on the smaller side. The food is very good and the service was wonderful. Maria helped us with everything. She made a mess than perfect weather day very enjoyable for us! Vinaka!

Beautiful island. Super easy to process to get boarding passes, quick ride on ferry to island. Great adults only areas where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and quiet.

Get in early if you want to use the pool. It was full when we arrived for a half day trip and nobody in the pool got out the 4 hours we were there!!

We booked last minute for a half day visit before we left Fiji. Oh my goodness, it did not disappoint. The service was fantastic food and drink delicious... But it was the snorkeling that proved absolutely wonderful! The variety of sea life and their colors just gorgeous! So grateful we had so much fun on a perfect day!

The island is pretty, but there was nothing special about it. Very disorganized, no one told us we had to check-in with anyone so we were just lounging and snorkeling and then we tried to buy some food and they asked why we didn't have this tab card the check-in was supposed to give us. Snorkeling was ok but nothing special.

Pros: Smooth ferry ride to Malamala, lots of activities including snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding.
Cons: Our ferry was late departing from Denarau and late departing Malamala. Food and drinks not included in ticket price, is available to purchase.

Such a stunning experience! Easy to book in with viator. Check in was easy, make sure you have your booking details ready, easier to also do an online checkin to avoid waiting in the line for too long. The boat was spacious and you can purchase snacks and drinks on the boat. The island itself was stunning - we did not use the pool as there were too many adults who were just drinking taking away the family vibe but nonetheless theres the beautiful beach with white sand and warm waters to swim in. Snorkeling was so much fun. We did not get to kayak or paddle board due to high winds. Food was yum too, i see people complain about the prices but to be honest, youre paying for them to run the place and keep up with the tourism for the island and I am all for that.

Because of the weather, we were not allowed to use the non-motorized equipment they had advertised. We didn’t go there to drink or lounge by the pool—we specifically went to snorkel and use the kayaks. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. We ended up leaving on the first boat back.
Viator should have informed us about the weather conditions in advance and given us the option to cancel. This turned out to be a complete waste of both time and money.

Terrible service. Rude service. Slow service. They serve white people immediately and made us wait an hour for fries and tacos. We’re black and they treated us like we didn’t belong… even though we look like them. I hated it here

1.
My bus missed for picking from hotel, I was at reception assuming they will come and let us know because that's how it is been from other travel.
2. After we reached with 2 young kids no spot for bed or even the sit out, staff asked me to go sit below the trees with no chairs as well.
3.complained to the manager saying give us refund back and arrange for us to go back to denarav , then they asked staff to get an chair
4. Then we ordered the food, took more than 30min to get food with kids waiting, again had to raise with staff to get it.
5. 5.15 the boat was supposed to leave from malamala, 5.40 it left again late
6. In terms of activity noting , u got only three pool thing which u can do with kids, they had no activity at all when I compared with beachcombor island.

Our findings show that a confirmation of your booking was sent to your email with details of your coach pick up from the bus stop outside the Mercure Hotel in Nadi. Unfortunately, you were at the reception and assumed the bus would pick you up from there. We are happy that you managed to get transport to the Port and connected the vessel for you half day experiences on the island. Your experiences as stated on your review is not a norm with our food and services as we continue to receive raving reviews. In addition, with vessel movements, occasionally there are delays to which we apologise for on this occasion. Your safety as well as the safety of passengers on board are our main priority. With regards to activities on the island, Malamala Beach Club offers complimentary use of non-motorised water sports equipment for snorkelling, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Also, families travel daily with kids and have enjoyed the day out.
We hope to get a chance in the near future to welcome you and your family along with the kids to enjoy the half day expereinces in all its glory.

Good day out and nice and relaxing to set yourself up on the beach for the day.
We did find it hard arriving on the afternoon boat, to find a beach chair or bed - not enough for the amount of people they sell tickets to.
Highlight was the snorkelling, very colourful coral and lots of fish!

We needed to kill a day before a PM flight so I booked the half day pass. It was a cloudy windy day and it was STILL worth it! The snorkeling is amazing! The paddleboards and kayaks were closed due to wind, but we could snorkel and use the pool, so the kids were happy. The food and drinks were delicious as well! We def will be back if we visit Fiji for a longer length of time.

The half day tour was enjoyable. Easy to find ferry terminal. The island was beautiful and had lots of sun lounges to choose from on the beach. The club had a good menu and it was not overly priced. We could use the pool on the island. Staff were lovely. So pleased I did this tour.
