Awesome experience!!! Our captain was great, Daniele went above and beyond and it was such a smooth ride.
Great scenery - great caves, BUT we were given an Italian guide not the English guide we were promised so we could not communicate with him - my wife desperately needed a bathroom even if it meant returning to port immediately - by the time we got him to go back she was in severe pain which resulted in a medical disaster which ruined the next several days of our vacation.

Inoltre, prima della partenza chiediamo sempre ai clienti se desiderano usufruire dei servizi igienici presenti in porto, proprio perché le imbarcazioni utilizzate per questo tipo di escursione non dispongono di bagno a bordo.
Se ci fosse stata comunicata chiaramente un’urgenza o una situazione di malessere, il rientro in porto sarebbe stato effettuato immediatamente, poiché la sicurezza e il benessere dei nostri ospiti vengono sempre prima di qualsiasi itinerario.
Ci sorprende quindi apprendere soltanto attraverso questa recensione di un episodio di tale gravità, che non ci era stato segnalato né durante il tour né al momento del rientro.
This was an amazing and unmissable tour! Giuseppe was the best; he took us safely through mildly choppy water around the port to calmer water and into many of the caves, explaining everything in Italian. We loved having a small, private boat to navigate those tiny spaces. It is possible to do similar tours in Salento, Riviera del Cedro, Costa degli Dei, etc., but usually one cannot enter most of the caves, making Gargano unique. Highly recommended! Very kind and flexible people and a great experience!
This is a fantastic way to see the coast! I highly recommend having a hired driver because they know which caves can be entered by boat. They even provide the opportunity for a swim closer to the end of the trip (so you’re not too cold). Our trip was 3 hours but this was plenty as we had our kids aged 11 and 13 with us. Our driver was friendly and stopped the boat for some great pictures.
This would have been a five star experience for us, except for it was too rough. We had to cut it really short, but we were able to see the arch and went in the caves. Roberto is the most skilled captain. It was amazing how he was able to maneuver the boat into the caves, especially with how rough it was. Very impressive. Just wished it was calmer.

Great trip up the coast with an experienced skipper. Do bring €50 for gas, also drinks/snacks. It is a small boat, so keep it to 2-3 persons. Beaches and caves are immaculate. Would recommend!
This was a wonderful experience. The boat captain knew the area very well and showed us the most beautiful caves. The advantage of being in a small boat is that you can go inside some of them. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

Our captain was an experienced navigator. He brought us to several caves around Vieste and was able to maneuver into tight spaces. Very scenic area! The boat ride was bumpy on the way back, but one cannot control the weather. Overall wonderful experience.

Lovely experience. We journeyed down the coast going into lots of caves - very beautiful. We happened to have a captain and a guide (though I understand that is not always the case), both were really kind and looked after us superbly, super sweet with the baby, shared their family pictures, let us move around the boat to be in shade, and were open to adjusting plans to suit our situation. We had a fantastic swim at the end. Really super, great hosts, definitely recommend.
Remember to take some ID with you! We were lucky that we had some but didn’t know that it was required.

This is the way to go in Vieste to see the sea caves and coast - the private aspect allowed us to swim at multiple locations and see inside the caves instead of just hte outside, which most of the other boats couldn't do. Having a captain is a must in my opinion as navigating the caves required great skill (as did entering and exiting the harbor during our visit). Rocco was an amazing captain and gave us just the right amount of info about the caves without it taking away from the magic of the spaces. Highly recommend for the beginning or end of your time in Vieste.

Francesco was a wonderful guide. He knows the coastline so well and the smaller boat allowed us to navigate a larger sampling of caves. We were a party of 5 and we were all very comfortable. This is an experience you simply must take time for. It was a beautiful experience.
We had booked a German tour guide, who, however, was not available on the day. Roberto himself was also not present, but Samuel was there as the skipper, and he did an incredible job!
