This was a fabulous experience! We had Alan as our driver and he was just wonderful. He showed us various sites around Victoria and gave us lots of interesting historical information. Very easy-going guy, takes good care of you by having blankets ready if needed, and really made the whole experience worthwhile. You definitely want to ask for Alan. Almost like having your own private guide. He was at least as much part of the experience as seeing Craigdarroch Castle.

Seeing the castle was so informative and beautiful!! This was the first time to see it and my young granddaughters thought it was amazing. We had such a wonderful tour guide, I believe is name was either Allen or Brien. Hopefully you will know which was it . He made the tour even more enjoyable….

This was an amazing way to see Victoria!! Our guide, Alan was AWESOME!! Being 13th generation Canadian he had such a wealth of knowledge of the history of his beloved country that he shared with us. It is such a personal tour experience because it is just you and the driver (Alan) so you really learn a lot. He pointed out so many cool and unique things from buildings, horticulture and places in Victoria with historical significance. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and we know Alan was a HUGE part of that… I highly recommend requesting him if you can.

We enjoyed our pedicab tour to the castle however we were unable to tour the inside as it was closed, we were quite disappointed even though you had contacted them and their reply was, no worries someone will be there, it will be open. I had requested you ask since our ship would not dock until 5:30 p.m. and the earliest we could leave ship would be around 6 p.m. Our pedicab driver pulled up plan B and we did have a great tour of Victoria downtown and the government buildings. We plan to return next year and hopefully can find a castle tour that will get us there and into the castle....it is a beautiful building outside, gotta see the inside too!

In addition to a personal tour of Craigdarroch Castle, a visit to the gardens surrounding Government House was spectacular. Walk at your leisure and smell the flowers, see deer, and sample the many herbs growing in the Herb Garden. The guide, Andrew, is most informative and makes sure you enjoy the tour. Highly recommended!!
