We were picked up at the airport and had access to the car over the 24 hours to meet our requirements. The driver was very skilful and assisted us in and out of the car. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and was happy to take us anywhere we wanted to go. His English was pretty good but he spoke a little too quickly making it a bit difficult for us to understand him. We had just 24 hours in Varanasi and Viator ensured we saw the best it had to offer

This tour was not very good value for money

I was very grateful that I was picked up from the airport and taken to my hotel, which would’ve been very hard to find for any other driver, let alone myself. The communication with the tour company was excellent, and their responses were very prompt. I was happy with my tour guide during the two days of the tour. However, I thought the tour was not very good value for money. It was far more expensive than was warranted, given that the tour over the two days was only a few hours. All of the other tours I did during my holiday in India were by far better value.

This tour was wonderful! Our guide, Bharat, was very informative and gracious. He made us feel very comfortable and did not take us to tourist traps. We saw all the sights we were interested in and he accommodated our needs and schedule perfectly. I highly recommend this tour with Bharat.

A tour that will help you understand why Varanasi is so sacred

Varanasi is so sacred and special, it’s well worth getting a guide who will take you around and help you to understand why the city is so sacred. Bharat our guide was lovely, always on time to pick us up, gave us an abundance of interesting information and was fun to be around. It was nice that you would do something with him for a few hours, but then be dropped back at your hotel to relax for a few hours before going out with him again. The Arti ceremony by the river was a big highlight as the tour allowed us to have great seats to watch it. Would highly recommend.

Varanasi no deja indiferente pero un tour guiado se espera más

Siento tener que dar esta puntuación a este tour pero nuestra experiencia se definiría como DESORGANIZADA. En comparación con otros tour que hemos realizado este nos ha dejado un sabor de boca amargo. No existe una buena comunicación y organización por la parte de la agencia que coordina el tour. En primer lugar nos tuvimos que poner en contacto con ellos nosotros mismos un día antes para poder confirmar el lugar y la hora de recogida puesto que desde la agencia no nos mandaron ninguna confirmación, aunque es verdad que contestaron rápidamente cuando contactamos con ellos. En segundo lugar no es lógico que no se le proporcione al guía el itinerario definido en el programa del tour así como que está incluido el mismo. No es normal que los clientes tengan que recordarle que hay dos viajes en barco incluidos (tarde y mañana) o que está incluida una visita al templo Vishwanat después de ver amanecer en el Ganges, motivo por el cuál no pudimos visitar dicho templo ya que al ir por la tarde había un evento público y estaba cerrado el pase de visita y aunque nos reembolsaron en dinero de las entradas, lo que más vale es que nos quedásemos sin poder visitarlo. Además aunque nuestro guía fue amable y cordial e intento solucionar todos estos problema que fueron surgiendo, no pedimos que hable español bilingüe, pero cuesta bastante seguir sus explicaciones y parte de la información necesita buscarla en internet, cuando siendo un guía esperas que la mayor parte de las cosas se las sepa. Varanasi es sin lugar a dudas un sitio no te deja indiferente, y hemos visto las principales atracciones (salvo el templo) pero siendo un tour guiado me esperaba más y sobre todo que hubiese sido más ordenado.
