Manish was a great guide who clearly knows Varanasi well. He was very knowledgable and gave us the confidence to try some local street food. Our favourites were the Samosas and the Lassi.

It was unique! 4 stops one just tea! Not a lot of food like some but a variety and for sure get to crawl through the winding streets!

The tour guide did not show up for the tour. I tried to contact them via the Viator app and there was no reponse. I am still waiting for a refund.

Our group arrived at the meetup spot, the intersection of an incredibly crowded and busy intersection, and then we waited and waited...
When I finally got through to the tour company, hours later, they told us that they had tried reaching out to us on WhatsApp and when we didn't reply, they cancelled our tour. It's true, we have a different number on WhatsApp, but they never asked for our WhatsApp number, and they never reached out through this app. I feel like they didn't do due diligence before deciding to let us twist.
I was with my wife and her parants, and being left in Varanasi without a guide and no plan was rough. I would not recommend putting yourself in a situation where you have to rely on this company.

Manish was a great guide - friendly and knowledgeable.
He accompanied me to several food spots serving delicious and clean food that didn’t upset my western stomach. Manish was very friendly and hospitable, and did a good job guiding me around the incredibly busy streets of Varanasi, always making sure I wasn’t too far behind him.

I had a really good street food tour with Manish. We tried about 6 different things and all of them were really good and safe to eat. Manish is also super knowledgeable about the city and the culture so it was more than just a street food tour. Would highly recommend!

Avoid these trips and do it on your own. The food costed a max of 500 ruees and we paid 2500 rupees. The guide was just making us walk, no anecdotes no history, by the end, was clueless why we took this one?

We had a great time on the tour today with Manish. He is such a nice man. He took us round the back streets of Varanasi to sample some delicious food. We also called in to the flower market. The food we tasted was lush.

Manish is a fantastic guide, great English, lovely person and very knowledgeable. Would recommend this food tour even if you're experienced with Indian food as Banaras has special history. The tour is nicely paced, not too much, not too little. Highlights: Kashi Chat Bandar, incredible Thandai, actually, everything was brilliant.

Nothing great about this tour as it took us to 4 places to try some food and one road side place to have tea. Not a very inspiring tour as couple of places food was very ordinary. Guide did put his efforts but the food was by and large let down. . This can definitely be a much better planned tour. .

We had a great time on our street food tour with Manesh. He showed us a number of well established local eateries which we would not have found ourselves. Definitely recommended if you want to try local food but nervous about it :) We also booked a sunrise boat ride which was beautiful. While you can do it yourself by catching a boat directly on the ghats, we appreciated having a guide to explain the local customs to us.

We enjoyed our food tour very much. We booked it on our first day in Varanasi so that we could use the information learned for the following days on our own. We ate so much ! You will be very full at the end, so best to only eat half of what is being served to you.

All in all a good experience but a couple of things they could improve on. Firstly, the guide didn't confirm booking until very late, then he was late, and that was ok as no hurry, but more importantly, we would have liked to try a few more things to eat as this was advertised, and we booked, for a "street food crawl". We had already been to the Blue Lassi ourselves, but nevertheless he took us there again. What we were looking for was more "street food", maybe to try some sweet pan, and all the things Varanasi is known for. So, I probably wouldn't book this tour again, I'd look for an actual "street food tour".
