I’m so happy to have met Ravi. One of the main reasons I chose Ravi over other guides was his honesty. The price he quoted was the price he charged. On some booking platforms, tours are advertised as “from” a certain amount, but once you go to book, the actual cost is much higher. Ravi was upfront and transparent from the very beginning. I would especially recommend him to solo travellers. He is flexible, adaptable, and extremely thoughtful. He takes the time to understand what you are interested in and makes sure you see the things that matter most to you, all in a relaxed and gentle way. Ravi also offers plenty of useful suggestions free of charge. Once he gets to know you, he is happy to share ideas for places to visit independently and how to make the most of your time in Varanasi. Attentive, knowledgeable, honest and kind, Ravi made my experience much richer. I would happily recommend him to other travellers and will certainly keep his number to pass on to friends visiting Varanasi.

Great way to get to know Varanasi

We had a wonderful walking tour of Varanasi with Ravi. The walk went at a relaxed pace, while at the same time covering a lot of ground and opening our eyes to parts of the city we would not have seen on our own. Ravi shared tons of information with us regarding Hindu traditions and the culture of the city, treated us to some delicious street food and catered the tour stops to what we were most interested in. We are not big tour people generally, however Varanasi is an overwhelming place to explore, and having someone who is local to the city is key to really understanding everything that’s going on around you. We’re really glad we had this experience and wish we had done it on our first day in Varanasi, rather than our last - as it gave us a whole new perspective of the city, plus Ravi had lots of other tips to continue exploring the city on our own. He’s also an incredibly nice guy, speaks perfect English, and is the utmost professional. You can tell he is passionate about what he does. Highly recommend Ravi as a guide and resource for your trip to Varanasi!

This was an amazing tour. Ravi is the best guide ever!!! He took us around the winding backstreets of old Varanasi and explained the history and culture of the town. This tour is perfect for someone who doesn't just want to see the typical monuments etc. It's so much more than that. We left feeling like we had a really good idea of the culture and people of Varanasi. 100% recommend!!! Thanks Ravi!!
