Very tasty and informative tour!

Jack_B, Jan 2025
This tour introduced me to three breweries within easy walking distance of each other, tasting a flight of four four-ounce pours at each. Our guide, Nick, was very friendly and informative walking us through each tasting, explaining the history and brewing process of the type of beer and the hosting brewery itself. Each venue was welcoming as well, enabling us to tour the production area at Main Street or giving us smaller tastings of beers not featured on the tour. The small group also enabled our group of strangers to quickly bond and have a really great time together. Although the tour does not include food, you spend enough time at each spot to order something on your own if you choose. Our group strongly recommends the string cheese at Faculty. This is also a great tour to take before a game. It ends with enough time for an easy walk to the arena. Thanks, Nick, for a great tour!

Authentic and insightful experience

Joining Chad’s craft beer tour in Vancouver was such a fantastic way to explore the local craft beer scene! His deep connection to the community and knowledge about each brewery really stood out, making the experience both authentic and insightful. We visited three unique breweries, each offering a great variety of local craft beers. We were in a small group of 4, which created a cool atmosphere - it was like going out with friends and having a good time. We can highly recommend this tour with Chad to anyone visiting Vancouver!

I really recommand this tour

Chad was very friendly and passionate, you'll learn a lot with him. Don't hesitate to book this tour, it's less expansive than the other options but as great if not better than them. We had a really great time overall.

Response from Host, Jun 2024

You and your crew were great, Swanny! Glad you enjoyed the experience. Big thanks for the review and recommendation. It means a lot as a local tour business.

Our guide, Chad? I never totally caught his name cuz it was very loud, was super fun, informative and a joy to hang around for a few hours. Being able to get a "feel" of the local scene made it much more personable and memorable. Our group by the end of the tour, felt as if we were lifelong friends. A great afternoon, one in which I would do again.

Response from Host, Apr 2024

Hilarious! Love it. Huge Thanks Andrew. You and Tricia were awesome. Brew and bike next time!

Highly Recommended!!!

Chad is very knowledgeable and certainly qualified to conduct this tour. I definitely learned a lot about beer brewing and how each beer gets it taste. He knows the places we went to very well. Side tour would be Chad talking about building art while walking from one brewery to another

Response from Host, Apr 2024

I am humbled, Liton. Thank you. Private group tour experience for the win!

We really enjoyed hearing the history of the brewing industry in BC, walking around Mount Pleasant and tasting fantastic beers. Thanks for the fun tour and expanding our beer repertoire

Fun and informative beer tour, even for a craft beer newbie

Audrey_T, Apr 2023
I don't know a ton about beer but had seen that there was a large Craft Beer scene in Vancouver and decided to try this tour out. He gave us lots of information about beer in general as well as the breweries we visited. He also tweeked the beers we sampled based on our personal tastes and preferences which was very cool! I did this tour by myself but felt very welcomed and had a great time!

Response from Host, Apr 2023

Thanks Audrey! Most people can honestly say they know very little about craft beer. Glad you enjoyed all the local breweries and beer tastings. We totally had a great time!

This tour was one of the...

This tour was one of the highlights of my Vancouver trip! My boyfriend and I didn't know that much about the craft beer scene prior to this, so the tour was a great introduction to the city, it's beer and it's people. Our guide Chad was outstanding and a great host. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I especially loved how he used our feedback after every brewery to curate the tasting flights at the next stop. I walked away with a better understanding of what kind of beer I like and why. I've been on food tours before but this was by far the best one yet. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something fun to do off the beaten path away from downtown.

Response from Host, Mar 2023

Thanks Amelia, I had a great time as well!! It was a pleasure walking you both around Brewery Creek and I hope you got out to enjoy some of the those local Vancouver food recommendations. Cheers! 🍻

In search of hoppiness

Fantastic thing to do on a rainy afternoon in Vancouver (or any day in Vancouver for that matter). Went to three different and incredibly atmospheric breweries and tasted some awesome beers - from light and refreshing to rich and creamy ales. However, and this is a big statement, the beers weren't the best thing of the tour. The stand out for me was our guide Chad. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and made each of the venues, and the wider Vancouver area, come alive with stories, interesting facts and anecdotes. Would highly recommend this tour.
