Very satisfied with my trip with Mindaugas to Valetta, Mdina and other amazing sites in the main island of Malta. Mindaugas promptly reached out to me before my trip. He was very accommodating and gracious, and didn't waste time to quickly correct a glitch with my booking (on Viator's site my ticket was inadvertently issued for half-day instead of a full day, as i believed to be paying for).
Mindaugas was very courteous, knowledgeable, attentive; worked with me to customize my itinerary and interactively pick places to visit; shared insightful historical events and dates; helped me patiently to take many photos; helped me make the most of my only day available in Malta; was passionate about his role; even picked a wonderful lunch place. At the end of the day he thoughtfully coordinated with me to drop me off in a place in Birgu (off itinerary route) where i could visit another site (Fort St. Angelo) and maximize my experience for that day. He is at the top of my experiences with guides so far and I definitely recommend his services.

Our guide, Mindugas, was and absolute pleasure to spend the day with. Very informative and immediately dialed it to what we liked and explained so much about the island while visiting all the places on the liour literature as well as a few private spots that were awesome.
A fair bit of walking but plenty of breaks in between.
Arrived right on time.
Great day in Malta.
We highly recommend this adventure.

We arrived on a cruise. Booking on Viator was easy. Our guide communicated with us and arranged a meeting spot close to the port entrance. Mindaugas Statkus spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. Many museums and attractions were closed because it was Good Friday however many historic sites are outdoors and we were able to see them from a different vantage point. The weather was sunny with a cool breeze.
We began our tour with a short drive up to the center of Valletta where we walked for about 50 minutes while Mindaugas pointed out the history and culture of Malta. From the harbor overlook we saw the historic fortifications and the 4 cruise ships visiting that day. While we explored the garden on our own, Mindaugas retrieved his car and met us at the entrance. He did this at several sights to ease excursion.
Our lunch was at a roof top restaurant [meal not included in the price of the trip] which was a delight. After finding out our preferences Mindaugas' recommendations enhanced our dining pleasure.
After lunch we visited a few small churches. Mindaugas explained that it was a tradition to visit seven small churches on Good Friday. We toured Rabat, Mdina and Marsaxlokk too. By 1600 we were tiring and Mindaugas delivered us back to the port entrance.

This day tour got off to a great start when Minda (guide) took time to ask and listen to what our perfect day might include. As an experienced guide, Minda was able to blend our must do items with some further highlights he knew others had enjoyed. The end result was we spent some time in Birgu (must see) before heading to some eye opening destinations incl St Dominics, an outdoor church Il Madonna tal ? and acsensational lunch with ocean views. You could try and do this yourself but it would take multiple days with heaps of stress trying to navigate let alone find parking spots. Minda was an excellent guide and I commend him and this tour to others

The tour was the perfect way to see the best parts of Malta in a day and we were not slowed by a larger group. We got to see each of the key sights at our own pace and our tour guide was amazing and added some personal touches as only a local guide/resident could.

We were only in Malta for 2 days so we had very limited time and a lot we wanted to see. Our tour with Mindaugas was a great way to spend our day and we covered nearly all of the sites we were hoping to see across all different areas of the country. Wonderful day around Malta. Our guide was knowledgeable, helpful and patient.
There were stops that we wanted to make not on the itinerary and he accommodated our requests substituting with others that we would not have known as well.
We highly Recommend this tour as a must if you have a couple of days available to spend and are curious about how rich Malta’s history is.

We had a fabulous day, visiting all the key places in Malta and making some wonderful memories. The highlight for me was the boat trip to the Blue Grotto followed by the most delicious lunch in an idyllic restaurant overlooking the bay.
Our guide, Mindo was so friendly and knowledgeable and went out if his way to make the day (our wedding anniversary) special.
This tour really gives you the full experience of Malta in one day and I can’t recommend it more highly.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful day with Mireille. We started in Valletta where she met us at our Airbnb and began our tour right way walking the old Republic street down to the city gate and ditches were our transport was parked. She presented the packed itinerary and we were able to discuss and make changes for places we wished to see. She also provided her suggestions to make the most of our time together. There is so much to see in Malta, one day was not enough. As beautiful as Malta is, the highlight of the tour was our guide! Mireille has a warm and welcoming personality as well as thorough knowledge of art, culture and history of Malta which she is eager to share. The photos are nice but the memories of our lunch by the Blue Grotto and the conversations shared will last a life time. Highly recommended.

Our guide was ultra friendly, knowledgeable, interesting, easy to understand (in English), and very flexible in planning. We had a great seaside lunch, a rude in a very nice auto, and in general, a wonderful experience. One of the best I’ve had in my travels!

The amount of stops we made and what we covered in a day was incredible. The trip was tailored to what we wanted to do. I would absolutely recommend this. At the end of the day we both had felt like we had seen all of Malta.

Mindaugus was an awesome tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating, flexible, on time, and well prepared. He adjusted his tour to our liking which made for a wonderful day! We had a wonderful lunch and he adjusted his tour so that my daughter could jump off the cliffs at St. Peter’s pool! This tour is a must if you visit Malta! Our private guide Mindaugas, was both amazing & creative. With both plane delays & traffic jams due to poor weather we were very late to start. Mindaugas was very patient, creative at changing our tour as the weather conditions altered and fulfilled all our requests as the day progressed. Enjoyed his company, knowledge & conversation about Malta & all other topics. Recommend this tour very highly for all those who wish to get a great overview of Malta with the ability to be driven anywhere around the island.

The tour of the island was wonderful. We got to see places and things off the beaten track and had a wonderful guide. Would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a tour of Malta with limited time. We came by cruise boat and he picked up up and drove us on a private tour of the Island till it was time to be back at the boat. He took us to some of his personal friends places to see many interesting things.These were things not available on a normal tour. Small vegetable farms, cheese producing farms, homes, beautiful ocean spots on the cliffs,ruins, etc.

My guide, Mindaugas, was great. He was helpful when I needed to find new clothes since the airline left my luggage. He was very patient in taking photographs. And he made sure that I was able to visit all the must-see and "instagrammable" places in Valletta. I would definitely recommend him to anyone going to Malta.
