Enjoyed seeing parts of Malta outside of Valletta. Our guide Cynthia was very nice and shared so much interesting information with us. The boat ride at the caves is a must during the tour and the ruins at Hagar Qim were amazing to see.

Overpriced and Underwhelming - Money Grab.

For $487, this half-day tour was a complete disappointment. Literally nothing is included—not even a boat ride or a bottle of water. We were just three people visiting a few spots in South Malta. You could easily use Bolt to visit the same locations at a fraction of the price. Other excursions, which include food, drinks, and admission fees, offer much better value for far less. We had been warned about locals overcharging for services, and this tour was the perfect example. Unless the price is drastically reduced, I cannot recommend it.

Your sentiments delineated in your comments take me my surprise in view of the following 1. you outright informed me that you were positively satisfied after completion of our tour. Your comments about being overcharged were received a day after completion of the tour. 2. all the information is clearly delineated on the Viator platform. The listing transparently highlights what is included, excluded from the tour, the cost and what the cost entails. 3. a driver from Bolt would not have provided you with the commentaries with regards to the places visited and the sights seen as well as a tour of the Archeological Park. 4. It is clear that no proper research was done prior to booking the tour, Your review is only meant to hurt our business and the people of Malta working in the tourist sector, No one deceived you or overcharged you or misled you in any way as this was made with your full knowledge prior to booking. I hope that a lesson is learnt as a result of this experience.

Cynthia was great-from coordinating the pickup to being a source of interesting facts about all of Valletta. She was flexible in our schedule as we had no interest in going to the grotto. I would highly recommend a tour with her. She’s very personable & makes all parts of the tour interesting!

What a lovely experience! I highly recommend this tour. Cynthia was our guide and she was extremely knowledgeable about everything Malta. Her communication was fantastic with emails and very quick responses. Having a private guide to take you around is the best way to see things and makes visits stress free rather than large tourists groups. Cynthia was a very welcoming tour guide and had us back on the ship within plenty of time.

Can’t Miss Malta Experience

Cynthia was an excellent tour guide. She showed us different parts of Malta, including Marsaxlokk which we saw this very cute fishing town with a shopping market, the blue grotto by boat and land, Hagar Qim and Mnajdra Temples which she had so much knowledge about and really made the temples comes to life, Ghar Lapsi for a beautiful swim. She also took us through different towns to show us the architecture and life. Overall, best experience!! We really got to experience so much of Malta in just a couple of hours. Highly recommend this tour!

Cynthia was a wonderful tour guide. She was very accommodating, I messaged her the day before the tour to customize it and she had no issues changing it up. Mdina, the silent city, the Blue Grotto with the boat tour, and the driving tour of the city were all great. Especially for cruisers. An excellent way to see highlights and learn history.

Perfect day on our own with Cynthia! Nothing like exploring the island with a local that, as an added bonus is a history major. She even took us to a local blue swimming hole to cool off. Half day was enough to see the main sights and then walk on own through the shops and sights nearby port. We feel like we spent the day with an old friend. Highly recommend!

The tour guide was excellent. The bus was comfortable. No water was offered on the bus. It was warm outside. The dancing was cute. However the food was not only cold but prepared before we arrived and piled on the plate. Yougurt running into the coleslaw that was running into the rice and meat.

What a fantastic tour that was! George was an excellent guide. He used the half-day to take me to the popular and scenic sites in all of Malta. I never felt rushed and the manner he conducted the tour was great. He was informative and even gave me recommendations on where to dine in Valletta. I was so impressed by him that I had him come back the following day, early in the morning to take me to the start line of the marathon I signed up for. The exact location of the start was a bit confusing but he managed to find the way with time to spare. I would highly recommend booking a tour with George!

What a fabulous tour we had with Cynthia! We were a group of three ladies, one with limited mobility. Cynthia wanted to be sure everyone was having a great time. We visited the Village of Marsaxlokk Bay, Zurrieq, the Blue Grotto, and the amazing Dingli Cliffs. A highlight of the day was the warm pastizzi that Cynthia got us to snack on during our tour. What a treat! Cynthia made our short time in Malta a memorable visit that we will never forget.

A 5-Star Experience

I spent an absolutely wonderful day visiting Malta. As a local, Cynthia, knew exactly where to go and the best time to be there. We went to the Marsaxlokk Fishing Village, the Hagar Qim temples, the Blue Lagoon, I swam in the Mediterranean with the locals and I even got to hold a real falcon on Malta, a Maltese Falcon. While driving to the various sites, Cynthia would explain the highlights of what I was about to see or do. Then she would walk with me to the entrance, and from there I would set out to explore the different locations on my own. It was so reassuring for me to be able to check out the different sites knowing my guide and ride would be waiting for me when I was finished. Touring Malta with Cynthia is 1000 times better than seeing the island from a large motor coach. Definitely a 5 Star experience, if you have the opportunity to book this tour, you should.
