The Titra Empul Temple visit was absolutely brilliant so I give a huge thanks to Ketut who was apart of this! Ketut picked us up from the hotel on time, he talked us through local culture on the journey to and from the temple and also spent time getting to know us. When we arrived Ketut collected the tickets and the whole experience felt well organised. Ketut collected our dry and wet sarongs, helped us put them on and educated us on this beautiful temple and how to respectfully take part in the purification. He had all we needed to make our offerings ahead of entering the foundations where he guided us further. Ketut took great photos for us and we felt like he really made our trip special! Thank you.

First the driver was the best driver on the island. It was wonderful having someone guide us through the process of understanding the Temple and the meaning and significance of the different Holy Springs. Doing this with a guide is necessary to respect customs and to ensure you receive the right rules. We were dressed appropriately during the entire time.
I loved the feeling of the renewal like baptism from the water. I also loved the feeling of the cleansing while knowing I was praying to MY God, no one else's. The respect of the land and the respect of everyone's right to honor their God and connect in this holy place was amazing. Being able to do this with my husband was even more satisfying since we are aligned in our prayers for ourselves and family.
I'm glad we waited until the last day to do this so we left the island feeling enlightened. A must Do!

We had a wonderful experience at this sacred temple. Our wonderful experience was all attributed to our driver, Wayan. HE was extremely informative about what we should expect and he guided us through the process. He was even our photographer!! Which was very helpful since my husband and I were both in the the water. I definitely recommend this experience and if you get Wayan as your driver, you are the luckiest! He was so good, kind and friendly.

The description of the excursion was completely incorrect. There is no line skipping as there is no line. It’s not 1 to 3 hours. It took us two hours to get there two hours to get home and we spent an hour and a half at the temple. Plan on an all day experience with a ride that is harrowing at best, there was no Wi-Fi in the car and they did not provide any water to us until I finally brought it up an hour and a half into the ride. Our guide was not at all proficient in English and his voice was so low in the front seat that you couldn’t even understand what he was saying in the backseat . He did not give us any instruction on how to pray at each one of the fountains. We got that instruction from the person in front of us.

Firstly, we haven't submited any wifi in car during the tour as listed on inclusion there is none that stated we have wifi in the car. In the commont area of the temple, the wifi is always online 24hours and its free for the visitor anytime om covered area of the signal wifi at the temple. And we have checked your hotel is located in the south Bali which is Uluwatu Pecatu Area. If looking on the map that is true really far and considering with the traffic, and its true will take 2 hours to get to the temple and also according the traffic condition. that is the reason we have listed the option from south Bali, Middle Bali, East Bali, West Bali because the hotel location where the traveler start for the blessing it may be different. And Regarding the skip the line for the entrance to the temple we have proved that we have honored with no line that you have to wait on the entrance gate where other have to follow the que line to get the entrance ticket. And following the complete ritual blessing, you have to follow the line surely. Because that is a pray or worship time, there is no one can get express access to the God. If we can do express access to the God to ask something, we may do it first. Every ceremony that present to get positive energy from universe will be need a time, focus and sure with what you are doing. Our guide has been proved that providing the full information but he informed us, that you did don't listent to him. Sarong, offering, insence is presented during your visit. And Our advice, for the next trip you have, please listent to the host and not take over of the topic on conversation that can be navigate to the not good situation during the trip. More Advice from Ketut Our Guide, Respect to each other it may the first key for better fortune.

The experience of the ceremony and the water was wonderful. However, the tour information says it takes one hour but the temple is a long way from Ubud. I learned a lot about Bali and why people go to the temple. I wasn’t so happy about going to places where I was expected to buy things. If you are taken to the coffee plantation nearby, do not touch the Luwak or the bats. I have to have a series of rabies injections because the Luwak bit me, not breaking the skin. And I arrived home two hours late because I was taken to a silver shop hours away from my accommodation! Not really happy.

Thank you very much for the time to write your review and base on our investigation and proved by the guide who was incharge on your tour, that the shop souvenir or silver shop is located in exit way of the temple which is has been informed by our guide to ignore the shop attendant if you are not interesting to get anything because that lane is sameless with street market. As the lane only the main exit way after the temple visit to get to parking area, that our guide already awared to informed you before pass the lane of exit way and regarding the luwak, is not on our program on purification and just an advice for the next safety, please do not let your finger to any animal either luwak, monkey, snakes, or others animal that may have possibility to bite as no one can predicted and unexpect character of animal. And once again, we hope there is will be a better fortune for you after the blessing ritual at the temple And of course with following the Karma as we trusted.

Our driver Made is an absolute GEM. He went out of his way to make our experience extra memorable. From a personal perspective, I prepared for this ceremony for month to heal from something in my past and childhood trauma. Made did not once asked why we we wanted to do the offering and needed/asked for blessings but prepared us with kindness and took beautiful pictures. He was so informative and answered all our questions from the hotel pickup until drop off. He attribution to our trip was immeasurable and we will never forget it and be forever grateful. 100% recommend the tour by Viator. We had troubles with time, we needed to be back at the hotel early. Spoken with one member of the staff and they managed to send a person earlier. We manage to have the tour and the same time to do the purification ritual as requested. The guider was very helpful and took lots of pictures.

I would totally recommend this excursion to anyone wanting to experience the Tirta Empul temple. Having a guide made an incredible add on as it provided information, tips and assistance along the way which made the day a whole lot more relaxed, flowing and closer to the traditional ceremony than you would get showing up on your own.

The tour was awesome! I really felt a part of the ritual at the Temple and immersed in Balinese culture. Nyoman really went out of his way and made everything informative. I also really enjoyed the coffee tour and learning about Kopi Luwak, made in Bali. I told my family back home in the US and they were shocked I experienced Kopi Luwak, famous from the movie the Bucket List 😂.

Sudi was a great guide. He was very informative and flexible. His English was perfect and I really enjoyed the experience. He took some great photos and videos, something I couldn't have done on my own. The tour allowed me to really focus on my prayer and cleansing ritual. Very powerful and healing.
