If you want to see Bali’s lush countryside but don’t want to be crammed in a tour bus for hours, try this cycling tour through the island’s jungles and rice plantations. Starting early near Kintamani, under the shadow of Mount Batur, cycle back to Ubud down roads and country tracks. Stop along the way at a traditional Balinese house compound to learn about country life in the region.

We loved the tour. Our guide Sujaya was excellent. We saw a side of Bali we wouldn't have seen otherwise. The scenery was stunning and we learnt a lot about the local culture going through the villages. Highly recommend Sujaya!

We absolutely loved this experience couldn’t recommend more! Transportation was amazing from our hotel and up through Ubud to our starting point, bike riding through the mountains, rice fields and seeing the local villages and temples Our instructor Eddie was amazing teaching us new things along the way alongside our amazing driver Ida Bagus Sujaya very patient and kind then an organised local lunch which was very exciting to try plus transportation back to our hotel overall 10/10

We had a wonderful Cycling Tour with our guide Bagus. He was very knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humour. He took great care of our safety as we rode along through the beautiful landscapes and we thoroughly recommend him as a guide. Agus our driver was always close by also if needed.

Bachus our guide was super friendly, helpfull and learned us so much about the religion and local life on Bali. Visiting some farms, local family house and som artists was realy what we loved to explore in Bali. The ricefieldviews and nature were breathtaking!

A great tour, we saw loads of parts of Bali we wouldn’t have been able to see on our own. Tour guide Eddie and driver (sorry, we’re bad with names!) were both funny, polite and very very knowledgable. Highly recommend to anyone!

Eddie was a funny, friendly and helpful guide and this was a great way to see the Balinese countryside and rice terraces. Eddie made sure we all felt comfortable on our bikes. They had different routes available depending on our riding ability. They were extremely flexible and wanted to make sure our day was exactly as we imagined. It also included a delicious lunch and a quick stop at a coffee plantation at the start. This tour was a really special experience - a must do in Bali!

Cycling through the rice fields was so pretty, and this tour was a great way to see some local villages. Our guide stopped and shared knowledge about the trees, fruits, and so many different things, an awesome way to learn more about the Balinese

Amazing experience! Booked for 3 initially and added another 6 last minute with multiple pickups. It was seamless! Bike ride and scenery was awesome with bonus of coffee plantation and visit to local family compound. The guides were super friendly and knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommend!

We had been in Bali for 5 days before we took this tour and had one other very good Bali tour and one really bad one (with different companies). The tours took us to great places but, were all a bit more touristy than we wanted. This tour was like a breath of fresh air and we LOVED all of it. The company did pick us up from our villa quite a ways away from the tour start which was great. We had a few issues with the driver and the company immediately addressed it and had a different driver take us home after the tour. It was great that they listened and adapted. After that however, we were SO pleased, there were NO concerns. Our guide Sujaya met us with all the bikes and equipment, made sure everyone's gear worked and fit properly and adjusted the bikes for us. It ended up being just the 4 of us ranging from 10-72 in our group. He then took us in back roads and through rice terraces with stops and 4th generation wood craving place and a coffee plantation. We had mentioned our previous tours and desire to avoid the crowds and he definitely answered. The places he took us to and the scenery we passed was EXACTLY what we hoped, traditional Bali unspoiled and without 100 people taking their perfect instagram picture. The coffee plantation he took us to was in the hills and quiet. We had to walk through a bamboo forest to get there and once there, the view was amazing. Majority of the ride is downhill with a few uphill stretches. I do agree with previous reviews that parts of the rice fields are a little narrow and hard to balance if you aren't at least a intermediate level rider so, a decent amount of bike skill is recommended. But, riding through the fields was also some of the best parts of the tour for sure. Our guide was very knowledgable and friendly/happy. He was patient and safety conscious throughout the tour. He even stopped the tour and had us go out to the rice fields with the workers and we got to learn (and do) a bit of the harvesting. This was definitely the best tour we took in Bali.
