Met by Kadek, earlier than originally planned. He discussed which waterfalls we would visit. On route he identified certain places of note and apleasant conversationalist. Rach waterfall was simply Beautiful and worth the visit.

Skip the tour and book a private driver to bring you to waterfalls instead

Kanto Lampo was incredible! We arrived around 10am and the line for taking those Instagram photos was only about 30 minutes. The other two waterfalls were cool, but nothing special. I think it would be more worth it to book a private driver to take you to other waterfalls that aren’t listed on these travel apps. It actually would have been cheaper if we had booked our private driver that we used during the other days who charged per day (not just a few hours).

Late and falsely advertised

Before reading, please let me clarify that the waterfalls in the tour themselves are spectacular, however this company was an absolute disaster and you should save your money. Firstly, we had ordered a pick-up at our hotel in Ubud for 8am, wanting to avoid some of the crowds that can appear at the falls later in the day. At this time, we received a phone call from a driver who was there to collect us… at a hotel in Kuta (about 2 hours away). He explained he had been given the wrong address and so we decided to wait for him. At 10.20am, we finally were able to set off to our first waterfall, where we were then asked to go and buy our tickets (despite the fact that we had paid over £60 for this tour so that this would all be included. When I questioned this, I was told it was definitely not included in the price, until I provided evidence from the booking page. He then phoned his boss and we were told we would get our money back for the entrance fees later, but that the driver didn’t have money yet and we’d need to cover all three sites until he could go to an ATM. This required a detour at the end of the trip to try and find one that was working. I’m not even going to begin to touch on the laughable suggestion that bottled water might be included, given the disorganisation of everything else in the day. The company had clearly taken our money and hired a driver to take us to the destinations, with no knowledge of what had been promised as part of the “tour” other than the 3 waterfall destinations. Please save your money and book elsewhere.
