Our guide Abdel was wonderful, he was so knowledgeable about the area and took us to the best places. We had a great time and have come away from Morocco wanting to see and experience more.

Tangiers minivan and walking tour of the old city

Quite comprehensive tour of Tangiers . The surroundings are quite nice and Mohamed the guide of the minivan was knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately the guide to the walking tour of the old city was rude and only wanted us to visit certain shops .

This trip left me feeling sour. The Hercules cave entrance and camel ride is not included in the price you pay. And are then told you have to pay more on the spot for those (which would have been fine, if they said that upfront). They clearly state lunch is not included they should say those are not either. Our driver guide was late picking us up and didn’t let us know until after we messaged. We asked for an English tour but the driver guide was not able to speak English. The walking leg of the tour we were taken to the guides friends stores and stalls. Left alone and pushed to buy their products in what felt premeditated and predatory. When we said we were not looking to shop he tried one more time. After we declined, again, he became abrasive to us and ended the tour not at the designated area. Luckily, we were happy to end it as well and ended up being close to our hotel. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Our guide had his own agenda; Took us to shops where he knew the owners and was likely to get a kickback Did not listen to what we wanted to do. He got angry with one of the other participants for buying a souvenir without his permission.

Nice Intro to Tangier

Excellent walking tour of the medina and beautiful drive along the coastline. The markets were delightful and my guide was very informative. The Cave allows you to get close to the crashing waves of the ocean. A nice introduction to Tangier.

Yousif was a fantastic guide we had in Tangiers. He was very knowledgeable about his city history, dates and culture. He took us to a local market and had us try many of the local foods .What a treat we had with Yousif. He was voted man of the year in 2017.He has written two books and is completing his third. We highly recommend you requesting him when you book this tour.

Tour company never showed up and failed to answer at least five phone calls. Disappointing since we could have booked cruise shore excursions instead.

Excellente journée passée avec un guide très sympathique. Il nous a montré tous les coins à voir de Tanger en voiture avec le temps pour descendre, visiter ou prendre des photos en nous explquant tout ce qu’il fallait savoir sur cette belle ville. Il nous a ensuite conduit dans un restaurant typique marocain loin des restaurants touristiques pour un prix très abordable. Je recommande vivement.

La visita nos dio una vista general de Tánger, en especial de la ciudad, barrios nobles y casco antiguo, además de los monumentos relevantes. El guía Said muy bien en su español y comentarios. Las visitas a las tiendas, que se hacen en todos los tours, sin agobiar y él quiera que compre.
