Fantastic tour of Ermoupoli!

Ria is an amazing tour guide! She is full of vitality and a zest for life. She is also very knowledgeable about the island. She gave us lots of information about landmarks and the cultural identity of Syros. We were tired but very happy after walking all over Ermoupoli with her and her helpful friend. We were allowed into the beautiful town hall during the working day and also a concert hall with musicians practicing. It was a great day. The only thing I would change is the tour meeting place. It’s confusing to find. We were unable to get a taxi so we walked and were very unsure where to wait for our guide. Thank Goodness it worked out but a more open and easy spot would be better.

Small group of 8 people. Tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the island. She gave an interesting and incite full discussion about the government on the island and took us through city hall and a couple of churches. She showed us things that a tour group from our ship didn’t cover. This trip was half the cost of the ship’s tour and more thorough.

Nafsika was an excellent guide-native to the island and great perspective on the history of the island . The points of interest were well selected and authentic. The only issue is the meet up point which is extremely confusing and not her fault. The company needs to get a better address as this caused a small delay even for a seasoned taxi driver who couldn’t find it. Allow more time for the meet up point than usual.
