Spent a very interesting couple of hours walking round Ermoupoli with our guide Dimitri. We visited various attractions around the town that we would never have seen on our own. Dimitri was informative and very passionate about the island. I loved seeing the ornate Greek Orthodox churches and the Theatre. The highlight was an original El Greco icon hanging in a small but beautiful church.

Lots of fun and learned a lot of history. While many of the locations are accessible on our own, we were able to learn a lot more about the cultural significance of each stop from Dimitri.

What a nice walking tour of the city. I really fell in love with this island and getting to know the history and character of it was really great. Our tour guide was fantastic, he really knew his stuff. A lovely, easy day in the town!

Our guide was wonderful, he met us early in a clearly marked marked place. He had amazing history knowledge and pointed out some great features that I wouldn't have noticed had he not. The walking was well timed. I would definitely suggest this tour!

The History of the island . The island is not sun and beaches but much more . And going into a court with a mdre trial on was unusual

Good way to learn about Syros, past and present - such as the history of this El Greco painting. Dimitrios himself has an interesting history. Ermoupoulis is a handsome, bustling town. Would love to return.

A most informative and interesting tour of some of the most notable buildings of Syros. Our guide, Dimitri, was very knowledgeable and pleasant with ready answers to any questions we had. We were lucky that it was just two of us in the group on the day so it was almost a private tour. Gained a lot of information not only about the buildings and architecture but also about the history and aspects of Syrian life.

I was drawn to this tour because there are no other Ermoupolis tour options that I could find and because it was cheaper than walking tours of some other cities (only €20/person).
Dimitris was very friendly and passionate about his city. He also was very flexible with the timing since the our ferry's schedule wouldn't allow us to make the regular tour time. He was waiting with two large water bottles (which was great since it was scorching that day) and we were the only couple on the tour.
In hindsight, I would have preferred to spend the 2 hours in Paralia Asteria considering the weather and that it was the only day I had on the island. However, I do feel that I got my money's worth from the tour.

Il tour di 2 ore comprende gli edifici più importanti della città. Qualunque cosa tu abbia visto. Non puoi vedere più niente in 2 ore! Se avessi seguito il tour e non il cellulare, avresti capito.
The 2-hour tour includes the most important buildings of the city. Whatever you saw. You can't see anything more in 2 hours! If you were following the tour and not your cell phone, you would have understood.
