Overview

Step aboard a traditional tall ship for a sail out of Sydney Harbor in search of migrating whales. Help sail the ship and climb the mast for epic views if you wish; otherwise just relax and keep your eye out for signs of humpback and southern right whales. Over the course of the half-day cruise, you'll learn about whale biology and behavior and dig in to a hearty hot lunch on board.

Sail/Whale Sightseeing

What an incredible experience! The sailboat is a 104 year old high mast sailboat. It was amazing to watch the crew work the sails. Ruth narrated the experience throughout and served an excellent lunch and dessert. We went far enough out to see humpback whales. It was a great 5 hour sail/whale cruise that I would highly recommend!
